i think this album suffers from the fact that all of the songs are great but you have to get at least halfway through the album for any REALLY GOOD songs to show up so i assume a lot of people probably havent listened to them, i got really bored listening to this but it gets a lot better in the 2nd half, idrk what the vision for this album was other than for the last song i guess but it feels a lil inconsistent, there's something off but i cant place it... either way, this album is nice to ... read more
very surprised by this album, i think the album title fits the album well, it feels more rock-oriented than the rest of her music but it still sticks true to what a debbie harry album is, it also just sounds really cool to listen to like there's a lot of STUFF in this album and i think it all sounds great!
favourite songs: i want you, you got me in trouble, rockbird
it's a really fun album, there's a lot of concept songs in here which are my favourite, it's definitely a noticeable shift from the typical blondie vibe - i think it's a really strong debut album! visually it seems really cohesive as well, the album cover is fantastic and it matches the music videos + some of the single covers, i like how well it seems to be planned out! overall a great album that i would listen to a lot, i really enjoyed it

this album is SO FUN! i love it! her voice sounds shockingly good, they definitely improved on defining a sound and a concept, it's SUCH a step up from ghosts of download and i was really impressed by it, i think all of the songs on this album are really beautiful and they all sound great - if i had a critique i guess it would be that maybe some of the songs sound a bit generic but they're all still really good imo

this is a REALLY generous score, the album isn't great, it lacks a lot of everything - i genuinely don't know what they were doing when they put this together but it's all dishevelled and nothing stands out and it just has like. nothing good to cling on to?? there's 0 songs that i gave a 10/10 and i just think this album was a huge flop compared to literally everything else they've made, and especially comparing it to panic of girls, their last album, which was amazing ... read more
this is a MASSIVE comeback compared to their previous few albums, and i have to say i really didn't expect it! this album is great throughout, they utilise a lot of different genres and languages and emotions and it all goes together really well, there's a clear throughline which can be hard to do! i love this album a lot, it feels very modern blondie and there were actually very few parts that i didn't love - i guess the only negative is that some of the songs didn't shine ... read more
idk what they were doing 😠this album is just so mid compared to what they normally do and it isn't even bad, there are peaks, but the lows are so low and with an album cover this cool u cant just have the music be what it is, idk, her vocals are good ofc but there's just something missing from *all* of it, like they had no concept at all for what they were doing but none of the songs are like. abysmal i guess

this IS a really great return for blondie, the album has a lot of high points, i think the reason why i rated it lower than their original 6 albums is because i think they prioritised quantity over quality - the first half of the album is *so much* better than the 2nd, they could've scrapped a good 3/4 tracks and it would've improved substantially, but i like how different the sound of this album is, it's more alt and techno and you can really hear how the technology changed ... read more
I LOVE THIS ALBUM. IT IS SO GOOD!!! the critics and whoever else truly act like this is the worst album ever created and it literally just isn't, it's a fun album with jungley tropical themes and it's consistently like james bond x the flintstones (other than a few songs like dragonfly which are futuristic as hell) and i think it's such an odd mashup of stuff that somehow works together so well, i guess i see why people dislike it but i really really love it, amazing ... read more
i like how this album has slightly more of a jazz feel than the blondie albums that came before it, it's definitely a unique entry in their discography, i like how some of the songs have a somewhat disney type of ethereality like the type of music you'd hear in a disney film if that makes sense, i do think the calmness of the songs maybe works against it slightly but i love calm music so i enjoyed this overall a lot

this album is definitely pop rock, i think it is maybe more generic than the rest of their stuff but i still think this album is really really incredible lol, it has some of my favourite blondie songs ever which bumped the rating up a lot, there isn't a lot to say about it imo other than they had a few crazy hits here and the rest is full of great songs
favourite songs: dreaming, union city blue, shayla, eat to the beat, atomic, sound-a-sleep, victor
another amazing album from blondie, i consider this album to exist in a different realm from the other two cuz you can really hear the difference between them, i think this is maybe the most quintessential blondie album in terms of their sound and i think it has actually very few negatives! i liked listening to it a lot! debbie's voice is so beautiful

this album definitely isn't better than the debut but i think it holds up really well, there's a plethora of amazing songs on this album and there are a lot of songs that i would happily listen to over and over! i think there are much lower lows on this album compared to the self-titled album but it's still a really solid album that i had a lot of fun listening to, and would listen to a lot more

oof, this is so good, this is like new wave/pop+punk rock perfection, it's full of so many intertwining concepts and i think it's just done to absolute perfection, it has such a fresh sound even in 2026 and her variation of vocals on this album is so impressive! i also like how ambitious this album is in terms of lyricism and the confidence she has in her voice, and i especially like how in control you can tell debbie is in this album, everything feels intentional and it works ... read more
idrk why she felt the need to release this album cuz all of the songs were already released on the other side
it's a good album, not original at all, it's a good selection of songs though and it makes a nice listen
and i will happily take whatever kate bush content i can get! and the remasters are really good
favourite songs: experiment iv, you want alchemy?, rocket man, walk straight down the middle, the man i love, mÅ„a na héireann
this album is really good, it has a uniqueness in her discography but it also has a really strong footing, the official release of these b-sides was so smart because theyre all *amazing*, like ALL of them - i like how the album is overall a lot calmer than the rest of her music and it's definitely a compilation album, the remixes for the songs are good, most of them aren't as good as the original, i think the HOL new version is amazing and the wuthering heights new vocal is ... read more
god i can't even imagine the energy the crowds must've had for this show, truly a once in a lifetime experience, i don't think she'll ever do anything like this again
with that said, this live album is just perfection, mind you she was 56 during this residency! and she sounded PERFECT! like you can't clock even ONE vocal imperfection in the live recording for this album, it's just so impressive what she's able to do with her voice

a beautiful winter album, this album has a lot of culture and emotion woven within the lyrics, i like how the entirety of the title track is literally listing 50 words for snow (even though some of them aren't real lol), snowflake is a beautiful song especially with bertie's vocals and with the little shrew video, it's a gorgeous anti-war song that i don't think could've been pulled off any better. the vocals throughout are just spectacular and it really shows how kate ... read more
this is a great remix album, i love the new maturity of her voice, i think it compliments the songs overall really well
compared to my other kate bush album ratings this one is lower, which is because i think the album drops in quality near the end, i'm not much of a fan of these versions of and so is love + rubberband girl but i do think this album has a lot of highlights which is why i still rated it very highly, i do think a lot of the songs sound better than originally
