shinji crank that soulja boy
holy fuck dude no has never had 3 letters is one of the best songs i have ever heard
I must have had rocks in my ear the first time I listened to this because this is really good. Most songs are great tunes, kind of drops off a little in the second half but the first is straight bangers.
not sure how to rate this 😅 gave me a feeling like when you go to bed kind of drunk and your head is spinning. Very trippy album
Yeah I did not enjoy this really at all. Definitely shoulda realized that this wasn't for me from the first song, was just waiting for the last song which I heard was the best and did not really understand. It started good, and it sounded almost identical to the original version (which I love), and then it diverged with a weird dissonant melody before going into a weird instrumental tangent. Clearly a talented musician though
I feel like it’s pretty safe to say that M83 created lightning in a bottle with dead Cities. I kept looking for that feeling that I got from that album in this one and just couldn’t find it. I do really like the more orchestral moments and songs like in the cold i’m standing and lower your eyelids to die.
In my DCFC shit right now, this is a good album, no songs really stand out too much to me compared to some of their better later work, except for president of what and fake frowns. I really enjoy the fact that the production doesn't sound very smooth, it makes me feel like I am in the room while they're making the album. Overall pretty good!
Very good emo, I wish they kept this sound. I will be listening to this much more in the fall.
Banger after banger after banger. Man this is one of if not the best EP's i've ever listened to.
definitely a worthwhile listen, deviates in sound from dead cities to a more pop-electronic sound, will have to listen to the album in between at some point
very sweet sounding album with cool samples. i feel like i might enjoy it more when it’s not so cold and dreary out. a very worthwhile listen, the album goes by very quickly
it’s like listening to beans by kurt cobain for 15 songs
The album that has stuck with me and the one that I always end up going back to. Favorite album of all time.
