Yesterday i had my 3rd MG concert in Utrecht so i think now is a good time to write a review about this album now.
This album is probably their nastiest and grimiest album since "...Because I'm Young..".
I honestly was a little caught off guard by the opening track "We Don't Give a Fuck" because it's definitely their slowest song to date. NOT bad slow but surprising slow. Especially the first minute of the song just makes me wonder how a Glitch/Ambient album ... read more
Okay so.... My Perverts review might be outdated now....
This album is probably my favorite album of this year. The groove on this is just so intoxicating that I just don't want to turn it off. It never gets boring and every beat is something else and keeps the momentum so well eve when the whole rhythm gets different like on "Words 2 Say" "Bite The Bait" & "On 2 Something" and the it goes to "TTW" which is probably one of the best songs on ... read more
Ok so i'm gonna be honest, i think this album doesn't really do it for me, the production is clean, Tyler's being a goober and it has a fun energy to it but beside this being below 30 minutes this album just doesn't really give me a thrill tbh. i think we needed just a bit more time with Chromakopia before this new album, especially since THE DAMN PHYSICAL RELEASES STILL AREN'T WIDELY AVAILABLE TYLER!!!!!!! but that aside, i don't really have alot to say about ... read more
This album cover would've gone into my favorite album covers list if it wasn't for that FUCKASS FONT.
So a bit of background, a few weeks ago my neighbor was throwing away all her cd's and i was lucky enough to get to go through them to see if there was any good, well i did find alot of good stuff, Kate Bush cd's (sadly not "Hounds of Love" because she kept that one for herself, but i did find her 3rd, 4th, 6th and 8th album all on CD and all in great condition!), ... read more
This is probably the dreamiest album i've heard since ORQUÍDEAS. I bought the CD today and before i listened to it i got surprised with a little envelope inside the CD, it was really neat :) but back to the album. This album takes everything that worked on the last 2 albums and smooths the edges off of it, and the result is an album that feels like a blissful dream, the lyrics though... Damn why is there the need to make me cry Kali???? Some of the lyrics on here had me actually ... read more
Words can't describe what i felt with this album. I found out about this album yesterday, came across it while doomscolling through AOTY and the album cover intrigued me. It was raining and i listened to almost the entire thing while walking to the bus station, It was a perfect weather for this album. This album is basically what you would get if GY!BE made Deathconsciousness by Have A Nice Life, which makes sense since one of the members is the frontman from GY!BE. This album made me sad, ... read more
WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS ALBUM?!?!?
it just casually takes a left turn after left turn and acts like nothing happened, and GOD IS IT FREAKY it had multiple moments where i audibly gasped because how does he say a line like "When I tell you your pussy is holy, I want you to slap me and then kiss me. Make sure everyone's watching, kiss me and then walk away. Walk to the bathroom, I'll follow after. Don't worry, we won't do anything. We'll just loiter there 15 minutes or ... read more
Have you experienced EUSEXUA?
For only the first month of the new year we're being fed so good, and this one is no exeption, to kinda compare it i want to compare it to the 2015 era of music where most of the music was very abstract and minimalist and experimental, and i kinda see that back with this album and also with Ethel Cain's poject, and then after 2015 came 2016 where everything suddenly had color again, i kinda see that back with last year too, just sort of a reverse order ... read more
I'm feeling like i just lost my ears and i'm now just hearing the rot of my flesh that is now exposed around where my ears were...
We're not even a month in and i'm already concidering this as one of the best projects of the year, i'm not familiar with Ethel Cain's music and i've seen people saying this is really made for the hardcore fans and they're absolutely right but i'm a sick fuck and i started with this EP out of all the music she has made ... read more
Screaming, crying, laying on the floor, rolling on the floor, twerking while sobbing, drinking a bottle of wine, banging my head against a wall, feeling like the Neon Genesis Evangelion intro, Feeling like Shinji Ikari sitting on a chair, throwing up, spilling my guts, going to the hospital, get back from the hospital, putting this album on again. Screaming, crying, laying on the floor, rolling on the floor, twerking while sobbing, drinking a bottle of wine, banging my head against a wall, ... read more
What do i need to say? It's a classic. This album is so fine and well crafted with little details here and there and lyrics that are so sad but you can't help but sing along to, I can't really say much about this one, it withstands the test of time and ages like fine wine.
Favorite track Rehab, You Know I'm No Good, Me & Mr Jones, Just Friends, Back to Black, Love Is a Losing Game, Tears Dry On Their Own, Wake Up Alone, Some Unholy War, He Can Only Hold Her & ... read more
Well since katy dropped the worst album of 2024 twice, i thought let's review the album that didnt deserve the backlash it got when it released. So, Smile is pretty interesting, it kinda shows where katy was already heading towards but at the same time also has songs that made me question why she didn't listen to the fans and focus her sound for the next album towards those songs, this album does have good songs, great even! but it does have some duds between them too, and those that ... read more
"The car's on fire and there's no driver at the wheel
And the sewers are all muddied with a thousand lonely suicides
And a dark wind blows
The government is corrupt
And we're on so many drugs
With the radio on and the curtains drawn
We're trapped in the belly of this horrible machine
And the machine is bleeding to death"
Wow. just, wow. This is truly an experience, this one is far more minimal compared to their next album "Lift Your Skinny Fists..." but ... read more

Felt like reviewing this album bc i just got my ticket for MG's show in amsterdam next year! :D
This album is POUNDING in my ears to the point i feel like my eardrums are either melting or bleeding but either way i'm enjoying it, and also the fact that these samples are form the most random places like, MG1 samples the Megaman soundtrack and 2 tracks later they sample Tyler, the Creator?!?!?! And that's just the beginning then 4 tracks later they sample GY!BE????? like holy ... read more
I just wanted to say that "For David Robert Jones" is one of the most simple, but yet hauntingly beautiful pieces of music that i have ever heard, i don't know William's work that well, except his "The Disintegration loops" project, and i started to dig into his work and this album cover intrigued me a lot, and then the first song came in and i just feel, empty, like a part of me just suddenly vanished and will never come back. For ambient drone music i normally ... read more
I want to start off with 2 things, 1. this is one of the most perfect album covers i've ever seen. 2. i just bought the album on vinyl
This album sounds like the album cover, it sounds warm but intimate and cool at the same time, and it works well! The album also transitions from one song to another pretty well, using one element of the next song in the previous song but in another tempo or slightly continuing the previous song into the next song is a really nice touch, especially the ... read more
i feel like i'm on an acid trip without the acid, this feeling is amazing. What i always have loved about TV Girl is that even thought they're pretty simple, they convey so much feeling into their music, ever since with their first albm there has always been a feeling of whimsicality in their music, even with the songs i don't click with i still have a new sonic experience with them, and i think teaming up with George is a great idea, especially after their last album being ... read more
I'm so ashammed of myself of getting to know "Running Up That Hill(A Deal With God)" becasue of stranger things...
but anyway, wow. Just wow, this album is beyond amazing, it continues to surpise and still sounds fresh, and on the topic of fresh even after so long, "Running Up That Hill" was back in 2022 my most listened song on spotify with 770 streams IN TOTAL, i literally kept playing this song over and over again i even slept with this song on repeat, i'm ... read more
