BANGER AFTER BANGER AFTER BANGER. West coast hip hop is absolutely THRIVING this year. While I do miss the introspective Kendrick already, this album is just so dang good.
Favorite Tracks: tv off, squabble up, heart pt 6.
Nice random track release from Darkie. The delivery is off at times, but the singing in the chorus and the wonderful production overshadow it's flaws for the most part.
Very cool album. Not a ton of replay value which is pretty important to me, but considering I haven't heard any of their stuff before it didn't really matter too much in the enjoyment process. Instrumentals are nice, and the vocals aren't as out there as I thought they'd be. Thanks for bringing this album to my attention, AOTY.
Absolutely phenomenal in every single way. The vocals and production are top tier, and the way the whole album sounds is simply superb. Perfect album for me. Recommend everyone who has ever listened to music to listen to it. 10/10
Favorite tracks: Killing Time, True Blue, That's My Floor, and Love Is Everywhere (let's start here reference?!?!)

I’m all for experimentation, but that’s why it’s experimentation. I genuinely hope he never tries to do that ... read more
NF is quite a "guilty pleasure" (not really, i love this guys' stuff pretty openly), and I think this is his best work. NF quite literally changed my life, as my family has always been tough on rap and VERY Cristian. NF was my first introduction to rap in around 2017, and really ignited my passion for music. I also thing DRIFTING is his best song. The instrumental alone was enough to have me hooked, and his mellow lyrics made it sound better for sure. The rest of the album is pretty ... read more
