I love Holly so much and this album just feels so comforting. I’m also obsessed with the visual identity of this album with the music videos!
I love this album A LOT, but I have to say it looses a little bit of points for me for the placement of Brittany Murphy. I’m not a big lyrics person so I have no idea if it’s like the perfect ending lyrically or thematically, but SONICALLY I think it is a terrible ending. Every time I get to it, I’m just like oh yeah this is how the album ends I guess… It just doesn’t hit hard enough for me especially on an album with an opener as strong as Dance. I expected the ... read more
Same LA is my soty so far I can’t stop listening to it! So happy Tiffany randomly popped up on my twitter bc this is one of my favorite albums of the year.
The more I listen to this album the better it gets. I genuinely think this is one of the greatest pieces of art ever created. You can tell Raye loves MUSIC and that’s what makes it feel special. I feel so many emotions when I listen to this all the way through. Also doing 50 genres on one album and doing them all perfectly is insane!!
Naomi Scott you have a forever stan in me. This album is insanely good especially for a debut! The only issue is the songs are too damn short!
I listened to this album a few times when it first came out and then i forgot about it, but recently I came back to it and it’s better than I remembered! Def wouldn’t mind if Demi went back to more of the rock sound on Holy Fvck bc that’s one of the best albums of this decade, but I still love this and like the direction she’s going with this!
I do like this album for the most part, however it felt a little underwhelming after what we got with aperture. I just don’t know if Harry will reach the heights of fine line again, but I hope he will!
I did not listen to any charli prior to brat (and I still haven’t gone back to listen to her previous work), but it’s so cool to see a completely different side to her. While this doesn’t reach the same heights as brat did for me, I love this album. The atmosphere created here is really wonderful and it was worked into the movie so well.
Ethel Cain thank you so much for introducing me to this incredible album. The vibe of this album is perfect and it got me through studying for one of the most important exams of my career so I will always love it for that reason lol.
This album is absolutely incredible! I first heard of hemlocke a few years ago when I randomly saw enknee1 and I loved that song so much but then I kinda forgot about her. So so glad she popped up on my timeline again when this album came out because it’s spectacular. Her artistry is so unique and also just cool as fuck. Can’t wait to see where her career goes.
I honestly go so back and forth on whether I like this or Eusexua more like it honestly depends on which album I’m listening to, but if I really had to choose I think this might slightly beat out the original for me. It’s just too good!
I love this album so much! Zara is never someone I really listened to in the past but the second I heard the song Midnight Sun I knew I needed to lock in for this one and I’m so glad I did!
Oh The Last Dinner Party how I love y’all… Pls stay together and keep making music forever I’m begging!! This album is fantastic! While I still think I like Prelude to Ecstasy slightly more, this is a very worthy and incredible follow-up. Coming less than two years later, I was worried this would feel rushed, but it doesn’t at all. This is a fully realized project that makes me even more excited for their future.
While this doesn’t reach the heights of Fountain Baby for me, it’s still a great album and such a fun time overall! I just love seeing Amaarae’s artistry on full display here. Can’t wait to follow the rest of her career! Also such a cool fucking album cover I’m obsessed with it!
I didn’t realize I never rated this album on here. Crazy how this is one of the best albums of all time and then they followed it up with an even better album!
I’m gonna start this review by saying I’m almost preprogrammed to like Taylor Swift’s music. I have grown up listening to her music since debut released in 2006. She kinda defined my childhood and was my artist of all time for a very long time. I’ve come to expand my music horizons as I have aged, but I never thought the day would come where I didn’t like one of her albums tbh. I haven’t like LOVED the direction her music has taken post folkmore, but I still ... read more
This album is solid! Nothing super exciting but nothing bad either. Everything to Everyone is still my favorite Renee project to date, so I hope one day she make music that resonates with me on that level again.
Shy sounds like it could be in an early 2000s movie, which I’m obsessed with!
I had never heard of Rochelle Jordan until I saw a random tweet about one of the singles from this album like a week before the album dropped. AND THANK GOD I SAW THAT TWEET!!! By far one of the best albums of the year. I’ve been obsessed with it since it dropped, and I can’t stop listening to it. This album has such a strong vision and sound, and it’s so cohesive. It’s a very dance and house heavy album, but I love how other genres are blended in so smoothly. It’s ... read more
