Jamie xx - In Waves

Quite literally everything I could ever ask for and more. I think I just fucking ascended.

DJ Shadow - Midnight In A Perfect World
100

This is, probably, my favorite song ever made. Words cannot describe how this makes me feel and how much I love it. It just sounds too good to be actual music. This song has been with me through every emotion, every trial and tribulation I’ve encountered in my life. Sometimes music can be more than music, and this song is a prime example. It’s perfect. And I would not be the same without it.

berlioz - open this wall
92

Worth the wait. Every track is beautiful in its own way, even if some aren’t as exciting as others. This is all just so beautiful.

berlioz - ode to rahsaan
96

Low key one of my most highly anticipated albums for the rest of the year

Jamie xx - Life

HE DONT MISS

Jamie xx - Treat Each Other Right

The way the different vocal snippets blend into each other. Wow

This about to be the best house album of the year by FAR

twenty one pilots - Clancy
81

As someone who loved TOP as a kid and have kind of departed from them, I wasn’t completely blown away like I was hoping, but it’s a good album. Absolutely some great songs, but a few snoozefests/cringefests too, particularly in the back half before Paladin Strait. I loved how every song had a different vibe though, and I was kept entertained the whole time. In terms of the lore, all I’m gonna say is… I don’t think it’s over. The ending of Paladin Strait ... read more

We are SO BACK!!!

Chromeo - Adult Contemporary
84

On their new album, Chromeo matures a little bit, but manages to not sacrifice any of their playful charm or electrofunk energy. The tracks are consistently groovy and humorous. Great release.

Apashe - Antagonist
87

Apashe is back with his second album, pushing his sound to new boundaries. I don’t love every song, but my god, some of the production here blows me away. Like seriously, how do you come up with catch me? The orchestral elements that he uses here are the most epic and unique they’ve been since requiem, and the beats are absolutely killer. The album is even better than the many singles suggested. I’m definitely impressed, and satisfied.

Panic! at the Disco - Death of a Bachelor
86

I might be going completely insane. I realize that. But this is my favorite PATD! album. Death of a bachelor is a beautifully ambitious pop album. The album sounds bombastic, and features some of Brendan urie’s best vocals. I love the blend of genres. There are songs to dance to, songs to slow dance and some to just enjoy. Ik many hardcore fans would disagree with me, but this album is pretty damn great.

Panic! at the Disco - Viva Las Vengeance

What a sad way to end a career

David Guetta - Listen
28

His worst album. Most of this is unlistenable and all over the place. Bad and Hey mama are exceptions

RÜFÜS DU SOL - Atlas
65

A modest beginning to what would become a great career. Decent, but not memorable.

Apashe - Requiem

Well god damn

Calvin Harris - Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 2
66

Volume 1 might have been my favorite summer album of all time. My expectations for this were sky high. And while there were some tracks that I enjoyed here, the majority of them were disappointing. A lot of the rappers on here I didn’t like. That being said, it’s not a terrible album. Just forgettable compared to vol 1.
