This used to be one of my favorite albums back in my freshman year of high school when I had a post-rock phase. Since I wanted to start listening to other genres besides nu-metal, I decided to check out this album again.

This release is packed with kick-ass riffs that give me the energy to crush empty cans of Dr. Pepper with my feet while on a sugar high from drinking said Dr. Pepper. They're accompanied by chaotic screams and awesome breakdowns.

There are a lot of high points on this album, most notably "All Over You", "Top", and "White, Discussion". But this album just felt too long. One or two songs could've been left out of the second half between "Shit Towne" and "White, Discussion"—the latter song I think should've been the final track instead of "Horse".
Post-grunge can be good, but it's easy for the genre to get stale, which is what happened here. ... read more
