I have no clue how this isn’t more known. Mavi has been someone I’ve been aware of ever since I’ve gotten into music as a hobby around early 2023, and this album always intrigued me. I saw the cover art and decided to listen and even then I found it phenomenal. Everything that makes a song good is here, but unfortunately sometimes underscores’ voice ruins the experience. I genuinely love some of the songs here, it’s just that I cannot get past her voice on this record being so grating. I want to like this so bad and for the past 3 years I have tried to enjoy it but I can’t. It’s absolutely beautiful. This album feels like a great summer day and a horrible winter day at the same time. It’s so cinematic and real that it absorbs me every time I allow myself to sink into the album. This is the closest an album could get to being a 10 whilst not being a 10. It’s interesting… it’s just mind-numbingly boring at the same time. Some of the vocal samples are very annoying and clash way more than feel put together. I love the drum samples though

This is just amazing. Idk if it’s album of the year or if it’s status update music. Super close tho
the atmosphere this album has is so apparent and heavy. it sounds dark, but beautiful at the same time. The production is riddled with floaty synths, cloudy drums, and the voice of an angel mosquito. (positive)
