I would give it a higher score, but getting rid of The Ballad of Costa Concordia was my breaking point. It sounded nice, but it already sounded nice! I think an EP with the newer songs would have been a good anniversary thing. Optimistic Son was quite good, I'll give them that.
Heathers is not a good musical to begin with. How do you manage to make it worse?
This is a musical version, of course it sounds like this. A cast recording doesn't do justice to what they were doing on stage.
Enjoyed it more this time, but I still stand with the thought that this is a weak attempt to recreate RENT's formula without understanding what made it work.

While I didn't enjoy the orchestration, the cast was so good that it made it worth listening.
