Joni Mitchell's lyrics have this amazing and incomprehensible ability to make me feel like everything is going to be okay, even when I'm feeling sad.

Joni Mitchell's "Blue" is simply beautiful. It's really easy to see why this is held in such high regard in the genre and music in general, even among the large sea of excellent singer-songwriter artists from the early 70's and late 60's. I'm starting to accept the fact that I think on a different plain of view. Not "intellectually" but cognitively. I've always been this way, as a kid even. Some people tell me it's a gift. Maybe so, but it's easier to play dumb really. Let the people point their fingers and say their gossip. Yeah, I can pick up the tiniest of hints.
