Joni Mitchell's lyrics have this amazing and incomprehensible ability to make me feel like everything is going to be okay, even when I'm feeling sad.

This is the saddest album I've ever heard, but not in a dreary way that makes me feel sad. Very impactful, what should be the benchmark for all singer-songwriter albums


The best female singer songwriter album of all time.


I don't know if this is a universal experience, but I often have these periods in my life where music seems to lose its allure. Listening becomes a chore and a part of my body's algorithm, rather than the passion it once was. I've been in one of these periods recently.
