Billie Eilish - HIT ME HARD AND SOFT
90

I think Billie's performance on this album is incredible and the production is great as always. I only really find L'AMOUR to be a skip, everything else is really great. There are a multitude of tracks on this album that I would consider perfect, and they make this into the great album experience that it is.

Taylor Swift - The Life of a Showgirl
28

I'm aligned with the masses since I think this album is hot garbage. It goes from decent to mid to horrendous and back to mid to end off. I'd say the main 3 tracks that redeem this album somewhat are The Fate of Ophelia, Opalite, and Wood because of the production being as fun as it is. It's a shame that the lyrics are as cringe as they are on that track. Actually Romantic and CANCELLED! are the common worst tracks, and yep, I agree. Everything else is either painfully mid or ... read more

Boom Kitty - Geometry Dash Gangster Rap
70

I can acknowledge the fact that this track objectively has a lot of problems and isn't really that good, but I unironically really enjoy this. It almost feels like a novelty track for the community and is a cool April Fools joke, but beyond that, it's nothing special. I think Sammelot and Colon do really well in their verses, and the production is really fun and bouncy, almost. EVW's verse and the hook are definitely the weak parts of this, and the hook especially is pretty bad. ... read more

A Tribe Called Quest - The Low End Theory
95

Non-stop incredible vibes and flows from Phife and Q-Tip, and the production is the perfect cherry on top. It's beautiful also that I feel like anyone can truly have their own opinions of what their favorites are as I haven't seen two people who had remotely the same opinions on each track on this album. For me, Show Business is probably my favorite track, and my father thought I was kind of crazy for that, and I love that.

Tyler, The Creator - DON'T TAP THE GLASS
85

As intended, this album is a great time from start to finish. It definitely has its weaker tracks like the double track, which is my least favorite, and Mommanem of course but I don't necessarily count that. There's not much to say about it, it's just consistently really fun and accessible.

Olivia Rodrigo - GUTS
90

I love Olivia Rodrigo, and this my preferred of her two current albums. I don't think there are any skips on this album and every track still brings something new to the table. Both the ballads and the harder rock-based tracks hit for me, and it's always felt like that. It's not revolutionary, but it's a great, well-rounded experience with a lot of replay value.

YonKaGor - Memory Merge
81

The production definitely carries the quality of this track, and the vocals are fun to listen to. That's not saying they're the best, because they aren't. I also think the mixing is a bit odd from time to time, especially in the chorus I feel like its a tiny bit off. That bridge is absolutely incredible though.

Broadway Cast - Beetlejuice (Original Broadway Cast Recording)
93

Taking a holistic approach to my opinions, this is my favorite Broadway show. I think Hamilton's soundtrack is better, but I love Beetlejuice's story so much that I can't not have it as my favorite. The soundtrack for this show is great too, it's just inconsistent. As an add-on, Home is my favorite Broadway song of all time, and it's honestly one of my favorite songs of all time, so it's always nice to give that song the appreciation that I think it never really ... read more

YonKaGor - Linger in the Rain
87

I have a lot of tiny nitpicks with this song, like the mixing near the end feeling a bit off, and the delivery of a few lines here and there, but I think this is YonkaGor's best song that you can loop. It's Normal is better, but this I could listen to more. This is one of the few times where I think the lyrics actually measure up to the quality of the production, so this is honestly a great listen.

YonKaGor - You’re Just Like Pop Music
80

Great production and it's generally really catchy, but it's simple.

YonKaGor - Mr. Sunfish
50

I can't lie, the only thing saving this song for me is the production (which is kind of a normal occurrence for YonkaGor tracks). The hook especially really doesn't sit well with me and just feels a bit awkward. I can't say much else, I just don't like this very much.

YonKaGor - It's Normal
94

Such incredible writing from Yon, and the production being as minimal but still impactful does wonders to emphasize what the track's lyrics are communicating. This is probably YonkaGor's best track at this moment.

Kendrick Lamar - GNX
87

This album is so overhated, but I understand why. It's definitely the most mainstream Kendrick has been in his career, and it makes sense after the Drake beef to go that direction, so it does kind of make him blend in with everyone else making music at the time. The cuts off this album that feel like pure and authentic Kendrick tracks though are incredible. man at the garden and reincarnated for example are some of my favorite Kendrick tracks. Yes, gnx is bad, not avoiding that, but ... read more

Kendrick Lamar - good kid, m.A.A.d city
100

This is my favorite rap album, and it has been ever since I listened to it for the first time. Kendrick's storytelling is flawless and I don't feel like the messaging ever gets in the way of the music's quality either. This album is skipless and I think it's Kendrick's best work.

Lady Gaga - MAYHEM
85

Tons of different artists' influence on different tracks on this album, and it makes for a really interesting listening experience. Yes this album is definitely inconsistent in quality, but it's not as far of a range as some make it out to be. The Beast is still decent, people. Of course, the highlights still shine bright amongst the rest, and that's fine. Still a great album, nonetheless.

Porter Robinson - SMILE! :D
83

What an emotional roller coaster this album felt like on the first listen. The tracklist just keeps alternating from peppy bangers to life-altering and down to earth tracks that still have somewhat happy production on the surface, and their meanings stuck with me. The abrupt change from something like Cheerleader to Russian Roulette or Mona Lisa to the final two tracks. It honestly makes it feel more like an EP from time to time with the nature of this album. I definitely prefer the first half ... read more

Michael Jackson - Bad
100

I feel the same way for this album as I do for Thriller, but the key difference between these is the enjoyment I get from the deeper cuts, and I enjoy these a lot more. Of course the massive hits on this albums are incredible, but I love the lesser known tracks like Just Good Friends and Speed Demon too. Also, Liberian Girl is one of my favorite MJ songs and that's just thrown in here. Perfect album.

Michael Jackson - Thriller
96

I've been a huge MJ all my life, and Thriller as a whole never gets old. There isn't a single track on this album I would call anything less than great. Thriller has its fair share of perfection of course. Tracks like Wanna Be Startin' Somethin', Thriller, Billie Jean, and Human Nature are absolutely phenomenal, and they far outweigh the other lesser tracks for me.
