Yellowcard - Lights and Sounds
79

The first full yellowcard album I have listened to, very very solid

Deftones - my mind is a mountain
85

After just seeing deftones live a few weeks ago, the deftones hype is crazy, then boom, a new single. This song is closer to koi no yokan stuff which I love. This has set a really good first bar for the full album.

Alice in Chains - Facelift
82

*Pulls out cigarettes and starts flying*

Febuary - Run Like a Girl
86

I heart women in screamo.

Creed - My Own Prison
65

I wanted to like this more than I did. There were a few pretty good songs but most of the rest was just kinda meh.

Also the effects in One hurt my ears.... :(

Brand New - The Devil and God Are Raging Inside Me
100

This album is probably one of the most important emo albums ever and rightfully so. I've listened to other Brand New songs and albums before this but this immediately became my favourite by far.

Limousine is an absolute masterpiece and physically stunned me for the majority of the duration of the song. Easily a top 10 song of all time for me.

EDIT: 98 -> 100, after some more listening to songs on this album I can confidently say this is a timeless work of art.

More Than Life - Brave Enough To Fail
100

Freak Spotify for gatekeeping this band from me, within the past day I have binged almost their whole discography (unfortunately not enough) and just wow, each song on this record and all their others has stuck to me like glue. Peak

Faith No More - King for a Day... Fool for a Lifetime
90

Incredible.

There's a great fusion of funky, calmer and heavier songs making a great listen as a full album. I really can't decide which songs are my favourite just because there are so many that could take those spots.

late night drive home - as i watch my life online
80

Been listening to LNDH for around 3 years and when they announced this album and released terabyte (absolute banger) I was so excited for this to come out. It did not disappoint, alot of the songs are really catchy.

yeule - Evangelic Girl is a Gun
85

I've listened to yeule for almost a year and a half at this point is this is 100% my favourite album from them.

The singles for this were absolutely great and made me insanely hyped for this album and overall the singles still remain my favourites, I still think this album was worth it.

I love how Saiko goes into Evangelic Girl is a Gun.

yeule - Dudu
87

And it goes like.....

venturing - Ghostholding
83

A Jane Remover side project, more in tune to her work on Census Designated. I personally prefer this over CD infact.

Top 3 songs:
Recoil
Dead forever
Famous girl

Sleep Token - Even in Arcadia
22

Sleep Token? Yeah, mimimir.

I don't know what to feel about this album, which makes sense considering the album doesn't know what it is either.

The opening track had some promise and as soon as I was about to like the song, boom, pop, a common occurrence for this album.

If you like the metal part of Sleep Token's songs try listening to Loathe a much better band that actually knows what music they play.

Top 3 songs (this is a push):
Provider
Emergence
Look To Windward

Pierce The Veil - Kiss Me Now
85

Their first new original song since the release of The Jaws of Life and while it comes nowhere close to their old sound, I still think its a very good song with lots of promise to be great live.

Jane Remover - Revengeseekerz
100

Everybooty wakeup, Jane dropped the album of the year and its only April.

Been looking forward to this album since its announcement and I am extremely blown away at how great this album is, I seriously have no words.

Every song could literally be the standout track for me personally, they are all just that incredible.

When JRJRJR and Dancing with your eyes closed dropped I was already greatly impressed and now to say that they aren't even in my top 3 is insane.

Deafheaven - Lonely People With Power
87

My first proper introduction to Deafheaven and I am not disappointed.

This album has top tier instrumentals which pair great with black metal lyrics, which while not usually something I would listen to day to day, I can appreciate their impressiveness.

Top 3 songs for me:
Heathen
The Garden Route
Incidental II
