blink-182 - blink-182
94

Easily Blink’s greatest album, both musically ambitious and lyrically mature. Only the interludes bog this thing down.

It has fucking Robert Smith on it, do I need to say more?

UPDATE: 8/23/2024 (Previously 89)
Underestimated my love for Enema and Jacket but I still stand behind this as blink’s most ambitious project.

Weezer - Weezer (Blue Album)
100

Pure nostalgia for me so I might be biased lol.

A perfect power pop album with songs meticulously crafted to catch your ear. Such a fun album at times with hints of melancholy. Has some of my favorite Weezer songs (The World Has Turned and Left Me Here in particular) and is a constant joy to revisit. The singles hit but the deep cuts hit even harder.

Weezer - Pinkerton
100

Loud, angry, sad, melancholic, unhinged, unpolished, uncomfortable, insightful

All words to describe Pinkerton. An absolutely perfect album front to back.
