even though it was released in 2022 this album still feels so recent to me like it was released last year, even though i don't listen it to that much as a whole there are a few tracks that i do very often listen to. The best song released of The Wow! Singal so far which is imporessive considering how great Cryogen is but it does it. The song stars with an atmosperic and other-worldly solo guitar intro, which to me anyway pushes the boundaries of what can even be done with guitars it truly sounds like nothing else i've heard. Having been brought up listening to alot of R.E.M but never listening to them myself out of choice it was interesting to see how many of these songs I was like ‘ Oh this song’ when a recognisable part of a song came on. Overall I would say this album is pretty strong, definitely not 90+ territory for me as there are some caveats to the album but it's pretty solid and has many 90+ songs. My first ever expirence with this band had never heard of them at all until i was reccomended it by their vocalist, and it surprised me a lot how cohesive and well-put together it was. It sounds far more put-together than MCR's IBYBYBMYL and i can ceritanly see the influense from MCR generally and muse espeacailly OoS era, but the last 3 tracks do seem to be False Bats attempt at exogenesis symphonies.
