I guess my main takeaway is, why? Why rerecord this album when there are many old, lower quality car seat headrest albums that could benefit from a rerecording? Why change the lyrics when the original lyrics are already amazing? Why remove the profanity? Where do i even being. This album is so chaotic and all over the place (in a good way) with songs like "Trinidad", while also being very beatiful with songs like "Taxes" or "Half Real", sometimes even at the same time ("Long Island City Here I Come"). Cameron Winter's voice is so nice to listen to i cant really explain why, he's a really good vocalist. The whole band has amazing performances on this album. Catchy, loud and noisy, everything you want from a song. Also all of the money it makes goes to help Palestine, which is really cool.

I really want to like this album as much as everyone else does, it has been slowly growing on me on each listen but i still feel kinda conflicted. I'll start by saying that musically its very impressive and pretty. It has great high point and beautiful instrumentals. With that said i feel like its kinda one note.
