this right here, is one of the most humane albums i’ve ever listened to. tweedy puts his emotions into lyrics so easily and naturally that it doesn’t seem like music anymore - it feels as if you are listening to your friend in a one-on-one conversation. all of this is coated in gentle and delicate yet complex instrumentals, consisting of some droning chords, folky acoustic guitar bits, soothing synths and a ton of angelic nostalgia. every detail adds to the atmosphere this album ... read more
i don’t even know how i discovered komety, but here we are! „via ardiente” is a project that feels like a couple of supposedly fitting songs, that are pretty mysterious and unique but lack in complexity. the instrumentals are pretty stripped-back and while it works for the compelling feeling of this record, it’s not enough to become something memorable. the compositions seem to focus on single ideas and don’t really surprise the listener throughout the experience. ... read more

it's a crime that I've only just listened to this album for the first time as a music enjoyer... but here we are, I caught up with the very beginning of metal and as unsurprising as it is, I enjoyed it thoroughly. such a twist from the 60's style it was, that I can't really imagine how the band had invented this harsh and dark sound. the atmosphere on this album is really absorbing, the darkness swallows the listener wholly and it does so thanks to the amazing leads, often ... read more
this album is the perfect example of "a bold and interesting idea, but bad execution". I'm sorry, but in my opinion the trap parts were absolutely uncreative, the instrumental was really basic and even though kim's boldness amazes me, I'm not bought into this whole chaotic mess that has been created. the message behind the lyrics itself is sharply highlighted and great, but again, it's all a bit too plain, the lyrics themselves leave little room for the listener ... read more
