I honestly though this was a fake release or something until the second verse came in, it sounded like someone imitating Travis until about halfway through. I feel like the beat could have been way more interesting, his performance was fine. Just an okay song.
I'm a big Shake fan so this felt very familiar, but different enough from YCKM that it wasn't boring. Many great/unique moments that make her music special to me.
My biggest complaint is that the outro of Blood on Your Hands was a little too "band kid" if you get me
Updated from 85 to 95 after like 5 listens, i love it
chorus could do with another couple lines instead of the same 2 repeating, but it goes hard regardless
The more I listen the more I really like this album. Obviously the first 6 tracks are ridiculous, and it slows down after that. But each song has some really nice moments that redeem them in my eyes. Swing is exceptionally depressing, but I love its prechorus. When he says "The summer never hurries along" in Don't Fall. Lots of little moments that make me really enjoy listening through this album. The deluxe is really solid too
Came to this after his collab “BRUISED” with KayCyy (which is really good) and wow, what in the world. I mean I clearly just don’t get it. Am I crazy for saying that every song through Wedding Day (except Gentle) sounds essentially identical? Manifesto is unbearably cringe. If I see this on your Spotify On Repeat I’m calling the police
Feels like an interlude, not a compelling single. Still super hyped for the album
Some amazing songs surrounded by some very good songs, solid all the way through. The high road is ridiculously good
