Pinned Review

Quadeca - Vanisher, Horizon Scraper

"Maybe on a relisten it will grow on me, but for now, I don’t enjoy this much at all."

It grew on me. A lot.

You might see me getting flamed in the comments. I previously rated this album a 40, to where it is now. I had, as you can tell, a significant change in my thoughts on this album. I thought it was just a bunch of unnecessary sounds, annoying vocals and bland, pretentious songwriting. My thoughts have completely reversed now -- I think every sound and layer that is added ... read more

Nas - Light-Years

On this collaboration between two legends, they are able to return with some great songs. Nas is rapping as great as ever, without a single weak performance. DJ Premier is making quality beats for most of the album, with some duds.

Avenged Sevenfold - Magic

I have always been a big fan of Avenged Sevenfold. The Stage is one of my favourite albums. I didn't even hate LIBAD too much. I thought there were weak tracks, Matt's vocals were poor and that it lacked structure, even for an experimental album. King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard - Murder of the Universe

A super cool album conceptually and musically. A continuation of King Gizzard psych rock style with spoken word. A cool and eventually pretty funny story is told throughout the runtime with characters and references to their previous albums (most obvious on The Lord Of Lightning).

This album is split into three parts that evolve the story significantly with each part. It starts with this tale of a man-eating beast to a story of a god of some sort and possibly the devil battling in the second ... read more

Joey Bada$$ - DARK AURA

-5 points for that stupid ass title

Travis Scott - Rodeo

An outstanding album in the trap genre and especially for a debut. Rodeo is an album that still remains relevant and influential nearly a decade after it's release. It is filled with psychedelic and futuristic production soaked with reverb and extreme attention to detail.
