1. The Moon Cave
I love the synths and the swirling sound of this song, mostly from the violins throughout. I also love Black Thought’s verse, especially when he stops rapping for a count just to have Trugoy the Dove complete his lyric. It really works because of the timing. Every time I hear that section of the song, I just bop my head. It is really some hard stuff.
2. The Happy Dictator
Such a grand sounding song. Mostly because of the reverb and the acapella that follows ... read more

1. Classical
Such a noisy but beautifully instrumented song. Ezra’s vocals are so relaxed and calming, while the drums are energetic in the background. It is just so well balanced. Then halfway through the song, when the piano keys and saxophone play during the bridge, I genuinely float. This entire track is incredibly well instrumented, with some of Ezra’s best vocals to date. A perfect song.
2. Capricorn
A pretty simple song instrumentally compared to Classical. It ... read more

1. Ca$ino
From the opening synths into the beat drop with those heavy 808s, I knew this was going to be impressive. Keem not only keeps up with the flow with ease, but he is also able to encapsulate the entire album in a single song. I think I cried a million times, I’m human, fuck it, sue me. These ... read more

1. We Don’t Care
Such a great way to start the album. Love the choir and their harmonies throughout the song as well. The drums and claps are really catchy as well. Also love the tone, it’s a great mix between serious and with some of the funniest bars “You tryna put me on the school bus with the space for the wheelchair. I'm tryna get the car with the chromey wheels here. You tryna cut our lights out like we don't live here.”

1. Dying for You
Just a very well made electronic pop song. I love the bass during the chorus, as well as how the drum machine complements the chord progressions of the bass. I also love the panning of the violins, which sound either reversed or mixed in such a psychedelic way. I especially love the final minute of this song.
2. Always Everywhere
Such a simple chorus, but because of how the instrumental soars with the violins and bass, it just feels so grand. It is a really soft ... read more
