Nas Discography Reviews (17/20)
Why is Nas so fucking gas πππ. This guy has actually become one of my favorite rappers to listen to in my free time throughout the series. With Illmatic, It was Written, this 2020's run, literally every one, I Am..., Stillmatic, God's Son, and some hidden gems in the middle like NASIR and Nas, this guy has not missed yet (do not mention Nastradamus).
Magic, one of TWO releases in 2021, further impresses this generational run from my goat. The production by Hit-Boy on this tracklist is so refreshing, and Hit-Boy continues to prove just how dominant he is in this 2020's decade. When it comes to the artist performance, Nas really just did not miss at all. From the almost staccato flow on Speechless, the unreal back to back performances with A$AP Rocky on Wave Gods, and the insane flows of songs like Meet Joe Black and 40-16 Building, this is just so good. It feels like Nas is back in his prime, but at this point, I can I even really say he is out of his prime? Maybe this is his second prime.
Overall, Magic is soooooo good, just a tad below KD 2 just because it is not nearly as long and, let me tell you, I certainly want more of this. NAS IS THE GOAT, TALK TO A WALL. Just kidding, have a lovely day folks if you read this unhinged rant about Nas and Magic.
