I am finally making my return to reviewing and am back from a very busy summer. I have been very busy with my music listening however have not been able to review it. I listened to many many full discographies and enjoyed basically all of them. That includes: Big L, clipping., Freddie Gibbs, Future, Ice Cube, Kid Cudi, Lil Wayne, Rakim, SZA, Vince Staples, Baby Keem, Big Pun, Danny Brown, Death Grips, Dr. Dre, Injury Reserve, JPEGMAFIA, Loyle Carner, Mach-Hommy, The Crane Wives, Ab-Soul, ... read more
Not Really anything too crazy from Future here, some hits and great tracks but nothing really as amazing off anything from his earlier projects. While I do like a lot of these tracks, I do think this LP does suffer from being so long and really just a bit repetitive. Otherwise it was a fine listen, somewhat forgettable for a Future project, but good.
While it can get an 100 off of its pure ground breaking nature and influence, I do have to bring it into a 2020's modern day perspective.
First, Eric B.'s production is actually really quite solid on this LP. While I do find some beats to fall a bit flat and feel slightly 1D, for the equipment that they had back then, and his incredible use of turntablism, I really highly regard it. You can definitely see the influence it had on the producers that came after.

Lil Wayne Discography Reviews #1
Finally starting this behemoth of a discography with Tha Block Is Hot. This is Lil Wayne's debut LP and for it being his debut, you can really hear his influence from the acts of JAY-Z, 2pac, C-Murder, 8Ball, etc. Wayne's flow is really quite extraordinary for such a young release.
While I did not really love this listen, It definitely had some stand out moments. Tracks like Tha Block Is Hot, Fuck tha World, Loud Pipes, and High Beamin', do ... read more
CONFUSED! was pretty good. This whole album left me confused in a not pretty good way.
Kid Cudi Discography Reviews #3
Coming off his highly influential debut, Cudi drops another possible classic (not in my books but close), Man on The Moon II. This album really focuses around Cudis persona, Mr. Rager, who as his name states, a man that goes to parties, does hard drugs, and makes many careless decisions which cause him more pain later on. This persona represents a part of Cudi himself, as this album is almost like a open-flawed therapy session for Cudi himself.

Future Discography Reviews #15
Better production, better flows from Future, overall just a better Beast Mode than the original which I was not a fan of. Tracks like SOME MORE, WIFI LIT, CUDDLE MY WRIST, and 31 DAYS really bring you into this album, making it's short run time quite enjoyable!
Kid Cudi Discography Review #2
Imma be honest this shit is sooooo boring and really just wayyy to many instrumental tracks to keep me engaged. The soundscape is really nothing new, which makes the instrumental tracks feel even worse than they are. Not a big fan here.
200th Review!
Kid Cudi Discography Reviews #1
One of the highest acclaimed 2000's hip hop albums, Man On The Moon: The End Of Day is a deeply important and influential album from Kid Cudi. If you think you would have Travis Scott or even much of the emo scene in rap like Trippie Redd (which for me I will pass) without this album and this man, you need to pinch yourself cuz your dreaming.
Man On The Moon: The End of Day has some of the most hip hop iconic songs from my childhood like Day ... read more
Freddie Gibbs Discography Reviews #4
We are finally starting to heat up here in this discography! Baby Face Killa features Freddie getting much better lyrically and beat selection wise. With the help from producers M-80, DJ Dahi, and Statik Selektah, Freddie really delivers a unique and rewarding listen in this mixtape.
Tracks like BFK, The Diet, The Hard, Kush Cloud, Tell a Friend with Currency, and Krazy with Jadakiss and Jay Rock, really cement great replayability into this tracklist. The ... read more
Future Discography Reviews #12
Lowkey I feel this is really underrated, Future and Thug bring out the best in each other on this project. While it definetly could have been better, I feel this is a really fun album to listen to.
Future Discography Reviews #11
This is one of my friends favorite Future album, let alone favorite album, of all time. I knew I had to really get in that R&B Future mood that we have seen him dive into before, especially in his really early career off of Astronaut Status.
HNDRXX shows Future in a whole different light from our usual Southern Trap legend. Instead, HNDRXX delivers us with that classic Future sound in an Alternative R&B setting. While I was quite skeptical at first, it ... read more
Future Discography Reviews #10
I messed with FUTURE heavy here I can't lie, I was at the gym straight vibing to this tracklist. Ofc Mask off absolutely carries, however I found many other songs especially in the first half to be really great Future tracks. Tracks like Rent Money, POA, Super Trapper, Poppin Tags, Might as Well, and Feds Did a Sweep really make this LP one to come back to.
Freddie Gibbs Discography Reviews #3
This is a label LP from ESGN, seems like a bit of a Dynasty situation from JAY-Z, just with Freddie Gibbs. Just like how I was not very impressed by Dynasty, not very impressed by ESGN. Do not get me wrong here, It actually is a solid listen and does have its moments however there is a lot of bloat and just boring tracks on this.
I think the biggest thing working against this album, is just how generic and uninspired it sounds. It really is a odd and very ... read more
Vince Staples Discography Reviews #1
After finishing his discography yesterday and realizing I have only reviewed my favorite, Dark Times, things obviously need to change.
Hell Can Wait is Vince Staples debut EP, and straight from the first track Fire, we can hear the Vince we all know and love. He has many impressive tracks here, those being 65 Hunnid, Hands Up, and Blue Suede which we see fantastic performances from Vince. Other tracks like Feelin the Love and Limos, I am really not a big ... read more
SZA's most recent work, and you can see an evolution in sound and production. Much more atmospheric and charming than CTRL and Z. SZA comes in with very good tracks on the project like Kill Bill, Seek & Destroy, Snooze, Blind, Gone Girl, Nobody Gets Me, Shirt, Open Arms, and Good Days. SZA's writing is in the same area that we see it on CTRL, however I feel SZA's introspection on this project is slightly better than CTRL. Features on the project are slightly lackluster for ... read more
I have some backstory and some I suppose exciting news here into my incredibly busy schedule of music discovery. I was looking at my list of artists that I wanted to do their own Discography Reviews series for, and realized if I did 4 a month it would take over 2 years. So thanks to my brilliant sister for demanding, not suggesting, ten a month, here marks a long grind to get through this list. Here is May's Discography Reviews and my current progress on all of them:
