Paid in Full is one of hip-hop's perfect records, from the thumbnail hood ethos of the title track to the dance-floor monster "I Know You Got Soul," which single-handedly resuscitated James Brown in 4:44.

Think about your favorite rap records. No limit, it could be 10, 20, 100. Doesn't matter, just think about your favorite rap albums, or your favorite rap music in general. Think about the fuzzy feeling you get when *that moment* happens or the face you make when *those lyrics* come in.
Feeling good? Good, cause Paid In Full probably influenced it. Even if it's the trappiest, singiest shit possible. Crazy, huh?

Some of the best rapping ever on this album easily one of the most influential records of all time love the flows on here and some incredible lyricism, aswell as amazing track presence on every song classic boom bap beats on here there isn´t anything not to love about this record
Paid in Full is an album that has a lot of influence on hip hop and without this album there would not be the same rap game as now.
But this album is so outdated for me.
Listening to this album feels like taking an old cassette that is so old that when you blow into it, a crossbow flies out of it.
