Imo, their most cohesive sounding album since Bed, Bath & Behind… no stinkers, just vibes. There is a noticeable formula if you care enough, but overall a good album to put on and keep on.
Pretty inoffensive, rounded EP. I don't think any of these songs particularly strike me as Amazing... if most of HCTM's music is like an actual hot meal, this release is a sandwich. I'm kind of intrigued with the way Limo Ride, and I Got You Covered kind of sound like Bed, Bath & Behind songs, and Goodbye Curious sounds like a song that could've been on Everlasting Party. Maybe. I wouldn't suggest this EP as a introduction to the band, but it's very ... read more
My favorite HCTM album currently. Reeeaaaaally love the sound of this album, and how very cohesive it is for a majority of songs (sideglance BB&B, and Ripe). This is like music I’d hear in dreams where I live a full, beautiful life, and then there’s a fade to black and credits. So awesome. Luv Aeroplane Blonde, That’s What She Said, and Stick It like very few other things in this world. Scott Baio.
made me more annoying and gay which kind of sucks for other people but i'm thriving, would recommend
oh riff raff og cast ate leaving no crumbs oh my god
this album is so close to a 100 to me, it's pretty cohesive and all around, a good listen. government hooker is actually really good u guys are just haters and hair made me feel things very deeply !
introducing foxy is good and everything after that is wishing i was still listening to that still
let me think (think about what) about girls (and what else) and money and new clothes (and what do i get) thirty nights (uh huh) of violence (yeah) and sugar to looooovvveee
Neat little LP. Possibly a little frontloaded although it's prolly a personal preferrence thing. Worth listening to - at the very least for the first few tracks.
Not much to say about this album as whole. A lot of these songs just kind of.. go on and on; there's a decent pay-off sometimes but usually after a cool bridge, you're sent right back into the chorus you've heard at least four times already. If this album got a haircut, it'd be an 86/100, I think. I also think that Love, Hate, Love is a absolutely amazing song. Has a great sound to it, has a crazy breakdown with some wonderful, gross vocals. Big fan of that song and it's a shame it's not rated ... read more
One of my favorite conscious hip-hop albums of this century. Must listen!
Wholly disappointing. Paying this soundtrack any attention in or out of game is fruitless. Believe me, I'm not bashing this soundtrack for being overwhelmingly ambience, I'm bashing it because, when it does go in a neat direction, you're blue balled to hell. Beware any semblance of "wow, this sounds pretty cool", because it will last approximately twenty seconds at most with no real resolution. In terms of how this soundtrack works alongside the game, well, it's kind of awkward. ... read more
did a lil bit of splishing and splashing to this album, pretty good
These instrumentals for the most part are absolutely NUTTY. HOWEVER, these are some of the worst vocals I've heard on ITM's discography (given I have only listened to two albums in full), which brings the entire EP down. Blood was THIS close to being "okay" but frontlady sounds like she's singing in a completely different key or sum. Really disappointed by this considering the mass potential it had.
What I wouldn't give to receive a headbutt from Wesley Willis. RIP.
Using the chorus of the vanilla song to remind you you’re listening to a KoRn remix under this weak beat is really bad, sorry. Great artists seperately, but this an undeniable stinker. Youch.
This project was a little scary to me because the ratings for it are almost as low as those for Bullets but I don't think it's entirely deserved. I had a lot of fun listening to this. Is it as good as The Black Parade? Fuck no, but is it a pretty good listen? I'd like to think so. There are a couple throwaways but they're not without some pretty good sections that can draw you back in (SCARECROW, for example: I would get lost in the verses and the chorus would pull me back). DESTROYA and Party ... read more
i hope whoever this drummer is got the skin sucked straight off their meat after recording this album holy shit
