I am so sorry, but it just really isn’t my thing. It was very well produced and the instrumentals were really beautiful, but I just didn’t connect to it. liked In My Town
While the first track is an interesting start to the project, the whole kinda flatlines. She’s obviously talented, but just needs some more time to find her sound
I had a fun time listening to this record. Brandi Carlile has so much talent, and it’s dripping from every song. Loved Church and State
Of all the deftones records I’ve listened to, I think this is my favourite. I really liked the more modern sound that still stayed within their normal range. Like infinite source.
She wears the Kate Bush of it all on her sleeve, but it works so well with the weird fusion pop sound she’s going for. She’s so charismatic, and balances humour and sincerity very well. Loved When a Good Man Cries
Don Toliver understands me. We match spiritually. I have been obsessed with Brother Stone from his 2024 project, so this came at the right time. He keeps elevating his sound, and I really love where he’s going. Loved Secondhand
I loved this record. Maybe it was because it perfectly fit the vibe of a late night drive to Manchester, but it really connected. I thought she had a really good connection between the folkier elements and the classic pop hooks. Loved Summer Sweat.
This was a surprise for me. I usually don’t connect to the more abstract instrumental records, but I thought this one had a really listenable quality that I appreciate. Loved Sour Diesel.
Really enjoyed the vibes of this record. Heartland Rock is a good description, with him obviously taking a lot of influence from Bruce Springsteen. Liked Graveyard.
Kaytranada has historically been one of the only dj’s I constistantly love, and while I really like this album, I prefer some more vocal features. Loved Space Invader.
I think it just needed a little more time in the oven. Something feels missing, but overall I enjoyed it. Liked Horoscope.
So so so good. Perfectly balances the folk elements and the electronic add-ons. Ethel Cain was right. The singer has such a gorgeous voice. Loved Dearly Missed
This sure is an abstract hip hop album. Just a little too abstract for me. Liked my co-worker clark kent's secret black box
Loved the vibe of this record. While it has a cohesive sound, the band is not scared to venture into hooks or interesting musical moments. I am so glad there’s an alt-rock I actually liked lol. Loved Take Me With You.
While the sound of the album is refreshing for K-pop and sets in apart from the rest, it still has many of the K-pop pitfalls. Mainly, how Chaeyoung never quite convinces me of her autonomy over her artistic vision. It often feels that someone curated this vision for her, and I don’t think she convinces me strongly enough. Liked 그림자 놀이
God, I love a good pop-R&B record. She just soars above each fun, dancy instrumental in such an effortless way. Loved The Best of You
