I love the raw energy and how rough around the edges this is. While the delivery is great, some of the songwriting doesn’t blow me away besides a few songs. That being said most of the songs here are still pretty good.
Solid album with some amazing highlights. Sound design is great and works so well with the whispery vocals.
Reminds me a lot of the books. Sound design and textures are great throughout but sometimes the songs can get lost in all the cool sounds. This is definitely an album to check out along with their last (and nerves). I can definitely see them focusing more on the songwriting and making something truly amazing in the future.
Not a single bad moment on here. Probably my second favorite album this year behind “trinket” by tsubi club. I love the elements of glitch and video games type sounds and they mesh so well with the shoegaze guitars.
