I'm a huge RTJ fan but this one just doesn't hit me like the other albums do. I've tried so hard to figure out why but I just can't. Hopefully I come around on it :/

I wanted to like Stranger in the Alps more, but I just couldn't. It had great moments, but it felt half-baked. That is absolutely NOT the case on Punisher. I don't think there's a bad thing about this album. I just love it.

i thought the first three tracks were excellent. they were like quintessential dan deacon. the arp piece was alright, the progession felt kinda stifled halfway through. and the tracks that followed that just didn't do anything for me really. kind of a let down imo
