Woah.
This was one of the first rap albums I’ve ever heard. And tbh, it’s an amazing introduction. I remember having this huge ass Rolling Stone top 500 albums book, and this album was at No. 22. Of course I took everything they said seriously (giant mistake) so I had to listen to it. And man, it didn’t disappoint at all. Fucking terrible.
I don’t know what the hell is wrong with Drake where every time he drops it’s always worse than the last album. This album is boring, sleazy, blandly produced. It’s the audio equivalent of eating raw chicken. It sounds terrible, is bland, and causes salmonella

Seriously one of his best records. Amazing rapping and performances with some of the best production I’ve heard from a modern record. Also not to mention the sampling. The sampling choices are beautiful and creative and never get old to me. This is one of those albums that just gets better as it ages. Peggy’s energy is infectious and makes every listen a vibe. I love this record. It’s easily one of the best of the decade so far.

Super beautiful and jazzy production and sampling. Along with some of the best bars from the goat, Black Thought. I loved a lot of the lyrical themes and beats on this record. And I also loved the DOOM feature. Amazing record.
