The verses are whatever for me but the singalong chant chorus is fun. Overall a pretty nice song.
The lyrics are cringy to me, mainly because it feels like Evan is trying too hard to have Cobain-style writing. There’s a lot of metaphors and abstract imagery, but instead of feeling natural and raw, it reads like it was written by a 14 year old attempting to sound profound and deep rather than coming from a place of genuine emotional depth.
