Usually not the biggest fan of this style of rapping but this album is fire.

This project is just so mediocre. I was expecting so much more, after what I’ve heard, but there isn’t anything outstanding. It is annoying at times.
Holy. This is like a bottom 10 album, OAT. It is genuinely terrible.
It is a solid pop record, it just is a bit boring, especially compared to some of her other works.
Holy peak. I haven’t heard a new shoegaze album in a while that I really liked, so this was a nice listen for me.

Devastatingly beautiful. It has a haunting energy of seeing a natural disaster through sounds. It begins with a nice, calm sound that slowly gets offbeat and unsettling to the actual disaster itself. It crushes down on you with waves of emotion, and then the drone sounds are just the emptiness after. A masterclass.
Honestly, this is just a great album. I don’t have much more to say about this. It is an album that inspired some of my favourites and was a very defining album.

It is just overrated imo. While technically excellent, I find myself losing interest at times, and it drags on at points. Still solid work, and I understand why some may like it, just not for me.
There is something just so emotional about this album. I feel like I am hearing a disturbingly intimate depiction of Vladimir’s life. What I mean by this, the songs just have so much conviction in them. You can hear the experiences that led him to create this masterpiece. His life in jail, being unfairly prosecuted, built up this emotional piece. I love it in all of its beauty.

Doing a cover album as a self-titled project is very ambitious. Admittedly, I didn’t recognize any cover, but I want to say each song is fun. I think the project falls short, but if these remixes came on in the club, I would eat this up. I just don’t think this performs well as an album.

Wow, I forgot how much I loved this project. I remember I used to think that this was Lana’s best, but after listening to some of her older works, it is still really good, but nothing beats some of her classics.

A surprising listen. I think this is the first time diving into cloud rap, and it was quite interesting. I’ll need to listen to more of it.

I had high hopes. While I don’t particularly like Drake, as someone from Toronto, it was very anticipated here, and I was excited for it. I am glad there were longer song lengths, and it wasn’t a 30-track album (even though he still released 2 more albums today). While I applaud this, some of the tracks are still bloated, and the songwriting is underwhelming. Decent album, but Drake is far past his prime.

There are some really strong moments on this album, but it just drags. I think California Nebula was really well executed, but this album just falls short.

It isn’t too bad, but it is just way too long. The album has quite a few highs, and I feel like I would enjoy other songs better as singles, as a project, it just drags.
