This is one of humanity's greatest achievements to me.
This album changed my life on the first listen. I can vividly remember the day after at school not being able to pay attention at all, and everything seeming just a little different. My perspective on the world was slightly shifting to one of more appreciation for its beauty and one more in touch with my soul, all somehow because my ears heard 87 minutes of sounds, with barely a word spoken either.

This album does like almost nothing new for The Cure, but damn it’s still pretty great.
It’s good, I just think 37 minutes of brutal death metal from the same album is almost always going to be monotonous.
Idk why I gave this a 78 first listen; so many great songs. Milk of the Madonna and Infinite Source are my two favourite Deftones songs since Koi No Yokan.
