JIK is a completely different feeling from the rest of Ye’s discography, with a gospel oriented style. The album has a few songs repurposed from his unreleased 2018 project Yandhi, and new songs aswell. Overall a decent album, but I definitely can see why some people don’t love it.

Not the worst album I’ve listened to, but it definitely isn’t great either. There is highlights such as BURN and STARS, but with songs like HOODRAT, the album is dragged down a ton. The album is sort of enjoyable, and there is fun to be found.

Vultures 2 should be a great album, with a talented duo like ¥$. Although Ty puts in his part, Ye brings this album down with poor writing, rapping and AI slop. The album utilises previously unreleased tracks and ruins them for no good reasons besides laziness. The album is very lacklustre and just doesn’t give this duo justice. Honest advice is to avoid listening to this album in full.
