I’m very down for Sarah Mary Chadwick to keep going with this singular sound. Take Me Out To a Bar/ What Am I, Gatsby? is the level of indulgence of Diamanda Galás. You have to be in a very specific mood for it but when you are it will be the best thing ever.
Who let the normies listen to this? This is not for y’all. The Body have made a ton of records and that’s how the vocals are. Tortured screams from hell. It’s powerful and scary and makes you feel sick. It’s a good time!
The Crying Out of Things was compelling and comparable to their others. I like that beats are taking a larger role here.

I don’t listen to everything. I don’t like most radio songs. I heard this once at work and decided it was worth my attention. I must have been in an exceptionally good mood. Because this is not me.

If I was really cool and was having a dinner party with my really cool friends, I would put this on. First drink post meal. Kinda sexy, contemplative, intelligent music. It’s 65• outside. There’s a cool breeze and people are talking about art.
With how approachable the clear production pretends Time is Glass is easy to digest, the actual record is challenging and far reaching. Very Beautiful. Haunting and Humble.
