Im's best album expereince by a massive margin. Love the atmosphere on this thing, brilliant as an album expeience, free from the riddled duds seen in most other IM albums. Would be a near perfect album if it were trimmed down to be around 40-50 mins long and if the slightly wonky production on songs like Leopold were fixed.
I've found myself listening to this album quite alot recent and i have grown quite fond of it. The quite bouncy and hooky electronic production featured on this album mixes very well with the dence and very technical rapping style of Aesop which seems to flow endlessly from idea to idea. However, while the very metaphor ridden lyrics are great and make for a very stimulating listening experience, it can really overload your brain at times and research into what the lyrics actually mean is ... read more
Dancing With Kadafi is bloody amazing, but the majority of this record is boring and forgettable.
These school shooters make amazing songs.
One of the most creative and catchy albums I've heard this year, great introduction to Math Rock.
This album brings back so many great memories and I can't help but get a rush of nostalgia whenever i hear this album.
Converting vegetarians has a tropical yet psychedelic vibe with good progression and experimental vocals, making for an upbeat unique album experience
The first disk of this album is fairly lackluster and similar to previous IM records, however disk 2 is brilliant, a big step towards Infected Mushrooms crowning album "I'm The Supervisor".
Disk 1 : 65
Disk 2: ... read more
I really like the strange lsd nighmare style of this album, however the songs have little progression and can honestly get quite boring. This album works well when used as strange background music, however there is no reason to really pay much attention to it in one sitting and listen to it as an album experience.
Some amazing songs on here with really good production.
There is however a big problem with this album, there are lots of boring songs, plus each songs run time is far too long making for a boring album experience
Wow what an amazing album
Madlib really shows off his creativity in this album with some insane complex production that flows quickly from track to track.
Doom rhyming is at his best on this record, he delivers some impactfull and creative verses on every track.
A rap album experience can't get much better than this, it truly is one of the best, if not the best rap album ever made.
Almost as accesable as Bottomless pit.
The rock influences makes for a very solid and experimental album
Pretty great album with some amazing agressve songs.
Anne Bonny and Pillbox hat are amazingly relentless and agressive, and birds is beautifull and abstract.
The album also festures some more boring and unambitous sections, like on the songs feels like a wheel.
I don't understand how Infected Mushroom can create absolute masterpeices like Heavyweight which are at the near pinnacle of progressive music and then plonk it into an album mixed with unisnspired slogging songs like Eat It Raw.
Really wish there was more consistancy on this thing as it features some amazing tracks. The runtime thing on this is way too long too, as with all IM albums, making it have a pretty poor album experience.
Personally when i listen to this album i trim it down be only ... read more
The breakthrough defining album of Infected Mushroom. One of the best psychedelic records ever made
An absolutely stunning album. Easily one of the best emotional and sad story based albums ever made.
The truly innovative and progressive nature of Remedy Lane makes it a must listen.
