Duncan really chose some of the most unpopular/unknown hits of the 80s. Can't blame the guy, but poor choice.
Sincerely, I love Duncan's work, but this is just awful. Boring, lengthy and sometimes just sounds like out of beat. Disappointed.
Um trabalho com maestria, sendo um daqueles exemplos onde "ao vivo acaba sendo melhor que a gravação". Lindas letras e poesias, com arranjos musicais sinceros e encantadores, cheios de nuances românticas e sentimentalismo bem escrito.
Adam Young proved he is much more than a synth-pop artist. This album feels like a journey. Its soothing instrumentals are as calming as a walk in the park, and each lyric is filled with beautiful poetry. It is a warm, cozy experience that enchants through its sincerity and lack of pretension.
This album is much better than I initially judged. There’s a lot surrounding the material presented on this record. The tracks can be exciting or slow, but everything feels right. Maybe not every track is engaging, but its quality is undeniable. You can clearly sense the band’s identity and what will guide them in future releases.
Refreshing compositions for the pop punk scene, a true breath of fresh air in a genre so often tied to mainstream formulas. In my opinion, it features some of the best vocals in the style. An amazing album.
A great country album, Versatile and engaging, beautiful compositions and good taste in production. A fun album.
A masterfully crafted album, marked by a sincerity that demands sensitive artistry to embrace imperfection and vulnerability. There is so much beauty here. The songs are beautifully performed, featuring some of the finest acoustic compositions and arrangements I have ever heard. The lyrics explore a theme that may seem limited at first, yet unfold into a powerful display of reflection and care. I may be biased, but it was through this work that my father and I reconnected. We listened to it ... read more
Cozy, gentle, inviting, and quietly mysterious, like stumbling upon an urban experiment left behind by someone with so many stories about everything life puts us in in modernity. Its techy, glitchy ambience perfectly complements the sensitive and introspective nature of the lyrics. The album also features some of the most beautiful acoustic guitar melodies and one of the best captions I have ever heard. Pure ear candy. A truly beautiful album.
Creamy, retro-tinged teenage pop that keeps things light and concise. Solid track selection and consistently good production throughout. There’s a better balance here, giving the record a cohesive, full-work feel that shines over time. A genuinely good listen.
A great single that feels like stepping into new territory while echoing familiar memories. It’s pure ’80s feel-good, Disney-esque animation OST energy something you could imagine in a classic like The Jungle Book or Tarzan. So immersive, it pulls you right in. The lyrics shine too, reflecting on how change in our lives is still something we’re learning to understand and accept. I hope this album comes out as good as this single is.
A truly revealing record. A journey through modern anxieties carried by deep lyricism and beautifully arranged instrumentals. Charming synthetic vocals deliver some of the most touching and sensitive lines I’ve heard, backed by a solid rock/pop/punk foundation that breaks boundaries both musically and culturally. It proves J-rock isn’t defined by nationality alone. So much heart, so much soul.
A great title attached to material that doesn’t quite live up to it. The album feels like an early example of burying its most interesting moments among forgettable tracks, almost as if trying to offset how tiring the listen can be. Indecisive and messy it occasionally locks into its core idea, then quickly loses focus
Dreamy and refreshing shoegaze that brings new life to electronic "vídeo gamey" indie textures. It boosts the trip like sinking into a couch at a party, everything moving while you quietly catch the small, perfect details.
