REVISITING TYLER, THE CREATOR’S DISCOGRAPHY #3
When I first went back through Tyler's discography, I was hoping to find where he first released an album that capitalized on his potential in some form. Wolf is that album, and still is one of his best projects.
At the time, this was Tyler's best album. The story on this album is executed well and his production is much improved as well. This album is a little too long and has a lot of filler that could have been cut, but there isn’t anything on here that is bad or anything. This also has many of my favorite Tyler songs, such as “Rusty”, “Answer”, “Slater”, “Colossus”, “IFHY”, and “48”. Unfortunately, it also has some of his least essential songs, such as “Trashwang”. Overall, while not perfect and not his best, this album showed what Tyler could do when he locked in and made the music he wanted to make.
