This song is just awkward. It sounds messy and unsure of itself.
I am so disappointed. The original red is a solid 8.5, and one of the best pop albums of the 2010’s. The new version just brutally murders what made the original so great. I might change my mind later, but on first listen, the production is noticeably bad, her vocals are forced and unnatural sounding, and unlike Fearless TV, none of the songs are an improvement from the original. Wildest Dreams was already a great track, but with the improved vocals and all the small mistakes in the original version fixed on this one, this song has gone from a great song to an incredible song .
