Though I need to relisten, I remember just how great the first listen of this album was. I almost cried. Twice.
Every song here is a masterpiece, with great rapping from Golden Boy and production from Think Twice. From the amazing hooks and flows to the samples, I genuinely don’t see any flaws in this album. Wish we got more specifics content, they’re such a great duo. Highly recommend if you like Nujabes and other jazz rap. My favorite rn is That Is Why
Great EP from substantial. Alone in the rain def my fav, in my daughters eyes is also great
Nujabes… one of the greatest (and my favorite) producers of all time. The luv sic hexalogy is a 6 song series by the Japanese producer and rapper duo, Nujabes and shing02. This collection includes plenty of great remixes and the instrumental by Nujabes for the songs, but the original six tracks are the real gold. The first 3 were created while Nujabes was still alive, and all of which are amazing. The other 3 came out after Nujabes died in 2010, though pt 4 and 5 were in production ... read more
Igor is one of the greatest albums for a reason, and while I don’t think it’s Tyler’s best, it’s still perfect. This album got me into hip-hop, even if it is arguably not a rap album, and I’m so glad it did. Please listen if you havent
Tyler’s best album. Great rapping, great production, catchy hooks, and so much more. Call me if you get lost is always a great experience and Dj Drama makes it all alive.
Amazing Vocaloid album with great tuning and instrumentation. It’s hard to describe this album and how to explain it, but it’s amazing. If you’re new to Vocaloid, I’d start here
Solid mixtape from substantial, plenty of highlights and great production all throughout. The interludes, features, and freestyles are also all nice. There are a few stinkers and mediocre tracks though, but the whole thing together is great
Incredibly underrated, substantials rapping is amazing while Nujabes lush production is always great. Ain’t no happy endings is one of the best hip hop tracks of all time, and I’ll stand by that for my whole life. If you’re a Nujabes fan, you’ll enjoy this album.
One of my favorite albums of all time, it takes me to another dimension every time. RIP Nujabes, favorite song is latitude.
