For movie soundtracks, i'd say it does its job well. Although the same melody plays over and over again, it still does its job well, especially during a jumpscare.
I love the original, but this version has a level of emotion the original just doesn't have...
Now this is more like it. This Greatly improved the vinyl release of this album, making the transitions less jarring and smoother. The fidelity was also edited to suit vinyl listening. W Trent Reznor, Most artists wouldn't make such significant changes to their albums for convenience. It may actually be better than the og release.
Basically this version was just the CD mix, just directly ported to vinyl. The album cuts off at random times, ruining the immersion and flow. It also sounds significantly worse because the fidelity wasn't intended for vinyl. If you want to listen to this album on vinyl, get the definitive edition. Other than that, its the same amazing album. Just don't listen to this version.
It has the well-deserved title of being the best Nu-Metal album of all time...
