Muse's third album is brilliant, it's their most consistent so far, Matt Bellamy is on his A-game with his lyricism, and the songwriting is immaculate. It's hard to really wrangle up the words to describe my thoughts on this album because I did not expect it to be as good as it is, I mean, I knew it was good I remember liking it a lot but my expectations were truly exceeded in every way. And to top it off it's a concept album! Being a concept album in and of itself isn't an automatic gold star or anything but I do think the artistic ambition is commendable and they pulled it off pretty well. Good job Muse.
