I absolutely love the sound of this, the instrumentals are all so cool and the musicians are so talented. unfortunately, i cannot say the same thing about the writing. these lyrics sound like they were written by a 32-year-old cosplaying as an 18-year-old goth feminist type beat (not saying feminist messaging in songwriting is a bad thing at all, but it feels so fake, commercial, and tiktok artist-core here). the pure strength of that british accent does not help either.

is it that hard to not be on pills when recording music? Some interesting beats (typical rap song 12, drug story) and fun song titles, but these vocals are atrocious.
zach bryan has a great voice and his lyrics are very well crafted, but there is very little variety in production (aside from the avant garde rock ending to oak island which was super cool) and i absolutely hate the use of harmonica
