Damn I am pleasantly surprised. I have not cared for Kim Petras like... ever. She never stood out to me, she just seemed to be one of those pop girls that tried to be iconic but just couldn't, but I was very wrong. This album established to me that she isn't just another khia, she definitely has some good music in her. This obviously isn't the best electropop record I've heard but it's pretty decent. Sorry for underestimating you, Kim Petras.
This song is just so incredible, the production, lyricism, vocals, everything. I really enjoy this track especially due to the lyrics as it takes such a fresh perspective on a break-up song. Most break-up songs carry an angry and resentful tone (valid), however this track dives into a mutual break-up experience. Her wishing her ex-partner well instead of cussing them out with lyrics such as 'Just know any love I gave you is forever yours to keep'. Overall, very cool track and one of ... read more
