Spring Forward

Spring Forward is an incredibly solid follow-up to an already great EP, and it just leaves me more excited to see what Florence Road will do next.

If anything, this feels like a more consistent extension of Fall Back, with slightly higher highs and even better vocals. Miss, in particular, showcases the band's growth perfectly, with such a dynamic structure and incredible vocals to complement it. Wow, just wow. It's impressive how much Lily Aron has grown as a vocalist. The instrumentals and melodies are some of their best as well. Storm Warnings is a particular stand out; angsty, punchy and a great vocal performance.

Pretty good EP. Honestly, I think this is really well made it's just I'm not a big fan of her sound. Maybe it's the way she sings? I don't know, it just hits something in my brain that's like "nah we don't really like this". Still pretty good tho
