This is my favourite album ever
To celebrate it turning 13 on the 2nd of November, I wanted to share my love for Car Seat Headrest's most famous album, Twin Fantasy. This song is not happy at all. I hear no amount of joy or ecstasy in any second of it. It's just a stiff and lifeless piece of music that does nothing but waste your time.
Cats don't seem to like me very much. Maybe I'm too skittish and jittery for them to feel comfortable around. But I love cats. They bring this impenetrable aura of comfort and serenity into the home, they're wonderful to watch play and to play with. This album sounds like how it feels to spend a day with a cat. yes, I'm serious. It seems people aren't really a huge fan of this album because of how obnoxious the music is, and how dated the sound can feel. That's completely reasonable! But that same obnoxiousness, for me, translates to the most fun I've had listening to an album in a long time. There was barely a moment on this album where I wasn't entertained or moving along. I can't believe i used to support this shit during the pewdiepie vs t-series era; this is so corny and childish! why are people who could actually make great music wasting their knowledge on petty youtube drama and affirming this reddit-esque desire to keep pewdiepie at the top?
