This album takes all the amazing guitar playing from Meat Puppets II and ramps up the technicality. Ridding themselves of many of their previous punk attributes, sonically this record sounds more like an outsider amalgamation of Jerry Garcia, 60s psychedelia, bluegrass-like picking, and older classic indie rock.
