Ceddiiee - BARN

Old town Boulevard and a letter for dad are instant favorites but the album is not overall consistent, just a cute, amateurish album, they will improve by themselves

Cocteau Twins - Milk and Kisses
94

Cocteau twins continues with more americanized sounds and more downtempo hits to attract with american audiences, but with more prominent drum arrangements and guthrie's displays of guitar melodies and leads, the album returns with more choir-like voice layers as blue bell knoll and balancing with brighter and darker, major compositions as heaven or Las Vegas, Fraser is still retaining much clarity in her performances.

A few songs maybe be recycled from their previous albums like calfskin ... read more

Madonna - I Feel So Free
86

This is like 90s Madonna studio albums combined, ambience coming from ray of light, soft vocals from bedtime stories and those little outdated, campy drum machines from erotica

Tori Amos - Gasoline Girls
81

Finally this is so under the pink coded but this is so short 😭😭😭😭 Tori don't make short songs please🥺

Cocteau Twins - Heaven or Las Vegas
80

İ feel like heaven or Las Vegas was a toned down approach to their previous works, instead of laying down the same sound they have used to do, they just adopted more contemporary sensibilities infact some of those songs that had a replay value like Cherry coloured funk, Pitch the baby, heaven or Las Vegas and at least the closing track which was the best song on the album.

The drug had a great contribution to this album which it enabled them to bring more various sounds of guitars but it also ... read more

Cocteau Twins - Head Over Heels
100

Cocteau Twins at their most best, excellent, well pop to goth driven, draws some of the most perfect production and drum arrangement here.

I feel like after this was the main inspiration for akina nakamori's Fushigi, because I clearly heard where the vocals are mostly drowned and subdued, but more of that this was the best pop music I ever explored of much, they go with a little tango, little downtempo and hint of post punk that were still trendy in 80s with their own sound trademark.

Sharon Cuneta - Bituing Walang Ningning / It's My Turn

I decided to add this release to review my favorite Tagalog song that left me in tears for a lot of moment, despite multiple reinterpretations, Sharon's original version still emotionally touched me even the Flim version with the late Cheril Gil, like it was absolutely devastating and overwhelming.

Like because you know I grew a lot of soulful songs and I feel like this was impactful of that time, I couldn't stop crying while I'm listening this song, Bituin Walang NingNing is a ... read more

Cocteau Twins - Blue Bell Knoll
99

I hear the donna summer influence in the opening title track, nonetheless it was excellent and amazing than heaven or Las Vegas.

Tori Amos - Shush
96

She was so fantastically angry all these years

Slayyyter - WOR$T GIRL IN AMERICA
87

I wish the some songs should be entirely structured completed but I think she really want her execution to be consistent but not near a perfection, so it's a flawed pop album with many great standouts, it doesn't feel enough for me.

Cocteau Twins - Four-Calendar Café

Their best and most brightest album

Cashew Körpe - No Other Woman Next To Him

Hande Yener - Apayrı

Thanks to my fellow türkçe sistas for reminding to rate this album but this is not my favorite one but yeah I appreciate it

Neurosis - An Undying Love for a Burning World

You've been always my favorite band

Slayyyter - BEAT UP CHANEL$

Sounds like the most accessible phonk or witch house track for all genders, sexuality and different kind of personalities, because how did she sound so genderfluid here without losing any spark.

70

Least favorite single for me.

Slayyyter - CRANK
98

I would eat this song even it's short and campy

Slayyyter - DANCE...
97

Song would be perfect if we demanded artists to bring back three chorus structure but she sounds like lady Gaga and Beyoncé here if they were collaborating for a new song again.

Slayyyter - OLD TECHNOLOGY
NR

Im sorry this sounds like Albatraoz but make it 2020s

I prefer not to give it rating cause I'm disappointed but respectfully so.

"Because comparing midnight sun to emails can't I send is way too far and too narrow to consider it as her own EICS album, they are not the same you know. @rbbaddie please do some practical research first and keep rediscovering, I'm not a rude person to tell that"
On rbbaddie's review of Zara Larsson - Midnight Sun
"@rbbaddie I have to give you a better disagreement, which I don't act as a chronically Twitter user I just don't find anyone's greater pop album as their emails I can't send (or consideredly as their best concept album) I find Sabrina EICS fake and plastic and the only good thing on the album is the bonus/reissued tracks and I find "Man's Best Friend" more as her own best album if she removed the topics (such about sex, copulation, breakups and cheating) and replaced from somewhat a better topic that engages more critics and listeners rather than dividing..... You could literally say she is having her own 2000s europop moment or reheating some of europop nachos artists in the 2000s who were used to have those old electro-rave elements."

"@cruisinszn if I thought you about cash grabbing attention EUSEXUA didn't get much hype (even after the VISA incident) I could say childlike things is good but still lack commercial success like we could say she's overrated in this site but not in wider audiences (even it's her less experimental music)"

"@cruisinszn well Camila cabello is one of my personal enjoyment artists that I only enjoyed for fun, nothing deep if I rated her a 9 or 10, have fun something casual"
On FKA twigs - Cheap Hotel
"@cruisinszn "used to be everything so new" did you not get my point when I said an artist should bring something we have never heard? Also the PERFECTLY is already disappointing tho, finally she doesn't count the releases as the reissue because I think twigs will try to capture on attention on TikTok with her newest release because she is trying to have a Sabrina carpenter moment, not together she was putting risk. And also if she was putting a reissue it would ruin the standard quality of the album."

"@ChappellRoan okay here are my final album Options Firuze or Sen Ağlama (it depends) Sezen Aksu 88 (synthpop) or Sezen Aksu Söylüyor (more on electropop) Gülümse (folk-dance pop) or Deli Kızın türküsü (avant-folk pop) Işık Doğudan Yükselir (progressive chamber folk ) or düğün ve cenaze (art Balkan folk) Deliveren (progressive folk, jazz fusion) or Şarkı Söylemek Lazım (folk-dance pop) I don't not force you to listen all of them, just pick one of 5 albums"
On ChappellRoan's review of Sezen Aksu - Paşa Gönül Şarkıları
"@ChappellRoan I either recommend Firuze but i think it's not fitting to your taste (because it has darker, gloomier and richer sound) Sen Ağlama Sezen Aksu 88 Sezen Aksu Söylüyor...... .... are mostly synthpop based with combinations of folk Music, but they are more accessible since your artist is primarily based on electropop/synthpop"
