Miyagi & Andy Panda - ANABIOS
70

Wiz Khalifa - Girls Love Horses
50

That's a run-of-the-mill pop-rap album where Wiz Khalifa does the same thing he always does. It's not crap, but it doesn't measure up to the genre's gold standards either.

Blanket - True Blue
75

Since childhood, I've never been able to handle loud music with a metallic edge, which is where my indifference to any kind of metal comes from. Yet somehow, miraculously, I managed to become friends with True Blue by Blanket. The guitar parts are wonderful—subtle and unpretentious, like an echo in an empty stairwell. I also like the soft, detached vocals, which coexist harmoniously with the melancholic musical landscape.

Yes, the release does lack a bit of variety, but over the ... read more

Langhorne Slim - The Dreamin' Kind
78

A most delightful blend of catchy folk in the spirit of David Bowie’s early work and a swaggering rocker with rapid-fire guitar parts (a kind of soft version of AC/DC). Overall, the album is executed in a fairly academic style – everything is polished, everything is tidy, the vocals are sung as they should be, the instrumentals are played at a high level – there’s simply nothing to nitpick

Wiz Khalifa - Khaotic
60

The album flies by extremely quickly – this is both its strength and its weakness. It feels like a collection of trap tracks of roughly the same quality, yet there's no standout banger or experiment for the ear to latch onto, resulting in a process of background listening without active engagement.

Various Artists - F1 The Album
60

It's pretty cool, but there are way too many filler tracks.

Charli xcx - BRAT
80

"BRAT" is still a kick-ass electropop album, although in my opinion it sags a bit in the middle in terms of songwriting, but otherwise – it's an exemplary work.

Seatbelts - Cowboy Bebop
100

An exquisite soundtrack album for an exquisite anime – what could be better?

fakemink - The Boy who cried Terrified .
65

This is my first time listening to fakemink – solid level, but there’s room to grow. Needs to work on the selection of instrumentals and level up the charisma; otherwise, there’s potential to become a top artist. Looking forward to his full-length album.

Fabiano do Nascimento - Vila
85

I've been saying the same thing with every release – Fabiano is simply amazing!

I love how he invests himself in each album, reinventing himself, his style, and his guitar playing—sometimes by adapting to new stylistic directions, other times by collaborating with new musicians. Vila is catharsis, condensed into a forty-minute record where Latin American guitar and orchestra merge into one.

Ari Lennox - Vacancy
40

"Vacancy" is a pop album that gathers every trope and sounds just like the lion's share of modern chart-topping pop music. Drab instrumentals and utterly bland vocals are the realities of this record.

The Sha La Das - Your Picture
80

A modest but truly radiant soul record. I love everything about it, from the vibey, light musical landscape with a nostalgic touch to the melodic vocals of the Schalda family.

Luísa Sonza - Bossa Sempre Nova
50

A rather grey and safe album with trivial bossa nova-style instrumentals and unremarkable vocal performances by Luisa.

Labrinth - COSMIC OPERA ACT I
78

Amazing material from Labrinth. A rich and incredibly engaging musical landscape that ventures into various styles while staying within the framework of clickable pop music. Timothy's incredible vocal timbre and range blend perfectly with this collage-like sonic backdrop.

The only thing I'd fault the album for is its timing. 28 minutes is too short to fully unfold and develop its ideas, so we'll be eagerly awaiting the second part of this cosmic opera.

Skrillex - Kora
40

Sounds like leftovers from last year's album «F*CK U SKRILLEX YOU THINK UR ANDY WARHOL BUT UR NOT!! <3». A completely non-essential but not uninteresting EP.

Westside Cowboy - So Much Country 'Till We Get There
72

A concise indie-rock album with a solid instrumental foundation, but vocals that pale in comparison. The EP is tightly put together; it will be interesting to see in which direction the Cowboys steer their debut full-length.

Lil Baby - Drip Harder
60

He's brought together the best elements from the past Drip Season mixtapes, but it's still not prime Gunna.

The Kid LAROI - BEFORE I FORGET
30

A formulaic and clichéd pop album that is significantly weaker than Laroi's previous record.

The Cribs - Selling a Vibe
70

Listening to the gentlemen from The Cribs for the first time – a pleasant aftertaste remains.

The band delivers gripping instrumental sections with unconventional guitar work, perfectly complemented by punchy drums and the energetic vocal performances of Gary and Ryan.

While the release might strike some as slow-paced or unengaging, I was completely drawn in by its dense, viscous quality, and thoroughly enjoyed listening to "Selling A Vibe."

YĪN YĪN - Yatta!
80

These guys deserve more recognition, they are absolutely amazing!
