I am so fucking sorry, but I just accidentally listened to the best album of 2025, and I don't give a fuck.
With a clear head, I understand that most people won't like this release because of its pompous seriousness and excessive pathos, but here, I was literally captivated by everything.
The timbre and power of the voice are impeccable. Celeste soars effortlessly into the upper octaves, while also sliding down nonchalantly to hit the lower notes. Of course, you can detect hints of ... read more
In my opinion, the album is a success. Of course, it's not without its flaws, but you want to overlook them and just enjoy the classic Mobb Deep material, sprinkled with fresh sonic solutions and cool guest verses. There's no single, brightly pronounced highlight. All the songs are roughly on the same level – the same solid level, which is probably what makes the record so appealing to listen to.
Havoc, The Alchemist – respect. Prodigy – till infinity.
Here is everything we love about Lewis Capaldi's work. Emotional vocal swings, simple yet captivating instrumentals, and heartfelt lyrics. It's all good, but we'd like more. "Something In The Heavens" is a wild hit
I can't imagine a more classic rap album. Elite work on all fronts—pumping instrumentals, phenomenal work with rhythm and flow, gripping lyrics about street life and personal metamorphoses.
It always seemed that there are two standout tracks here, and the rest just chase them, but in reality, that's not the case. Each track has its own value and doesn't yield to the previous one. In this, probably, lies the value of the record and the reason for its longevity.

Finally listened to Jim Legxacy's third mixtape – a confident work that puts Jim on par with the top artists on the modern UK scene.
Despite the fact that "black british music" is a mixtape and Jim tries himself in different genres, the release listens cohesively and tightly. This effect is achieved through the track timings, as well as the amazing tracklist craftsmanship. Of course, there are filler songs, but the main mass consists of bangers in which Jim cranks his ... read more
The sound of the album fully matches the cover – it's just as chaotic and disorderly. The music is good, made professionally, with taste and soul, but there's no match with the songs for me. I can't fully explain what exactly I don't like – whether it's the instrumental components or the peculiar manner of performance. Although the track "Phish Pepsi" is a masterpiece, it's definitely worth listening to.
I know Olivia Dean from her cute EP "What Am I Gonna Do On Sundays?" with the cool highlight "Echo", but I haven't listened to anything else besides that.
Her new album is just okay. Well, in the sense that there's a bright highlight "Loud", and the other tracks are of varying quality, but much weaker than "Loud". Yeah, there's a pleasant atmosphere, but the songwriting is quite sparse. Many instrumental moments repeat, production ... read more
A fairly classic release from NF. His signature oppressive atmosphere with barely perceptible rays of light, as well as the classic musical toolkit—dark beats, insidious rap delivery, and introspective lyrics.
It's neither a bad release nor an outstanding one. Just ordinary NF with an ordinary album
"HEROINA" definitely doesn't reach the level of her previous works, but it's not as bad as people say.
I understand the attempts to move towards a pop direction, but Sevdaliza needs to incorporate her signature techniques into it; then it would be a bomb, but for now, it pales in comparison to her colleagues. If Sevdaliza had fully built the album around the sound of tracks like "On My Own" or "Alibi" – believe me, the effect would be ... read more
Зацепили ... read more
I don't understand why this release is so underrated—it's a phenomenal work! The production, JMSN's incredibly varied performance, excellent lyrical gems, and a masterfully crafted dark atmosphere—all of this makes the album unique. There literally isn't a single filler track here; in fact, I'll go further—each track is like a living organism, and together in the album, they form a massive centipede.
I don't know, I'm really impressed.
A solid hip-hop album made in the best traditions of Wu-Tang. I like the selection of instrumental parts with a bright East Coast flavor, to which small touches of neo-soul, jazz, and gospel sounds are added. There are excellent technical performances, and there are performances that you quickly forget and don't understand why they're even needed. The same goes for the guest artists—there are those, like Kool G Rap, Nicole Bus, and Benny the Butcher, who tear it up and show the ... read more
I haven't been able to find time for a full and thoughtful viewing of the new "Tron" yet, but I got acquainted with the soundtrack album by Reznor and Ross with great pleasure.
The project sounds impressive, though not without flaws. In an interview, the duo emphasized that this album is a standalone "Nine Inch Nails" project, but unfortunately, it doesn't come across that way when listening. Firstly, the record is fragmented into short tracks that serve as a ... read more
A solid, pleasant pop album with a couple of explosive songs. I like how Victoria incorporates UK-Garage sounds into dance-pop, as well as my favorite breakbeats – it sounds cool, but too safe. I'd like more experiments; I hope we'll hear that on the next album. Otherwise, everything is by the PinkPantheress canon – an upbeat musical landscape, romantic lyrics, and catchy vocals. The release is pleasant, but I wouldn't listen to it in full – only individual ... read more
I adore Shlohmo's work, but despite that, I can objectively say that "REPULSOR" is an excellent album. I like the sound duality of the record. Henry has been famous throughout his career for his ability to create a cohesive electronic foundation, with successfully screwed-in screws in the form of witch house, glitch-hop, ambient, and other adjacent stylistic directions. On "REPULSOR," he does the same thing. He doesn't divide the record by stylistic directions; ... read more
Нормальный альбом, но звёзд с неба не хватает. Есть один жёсткий трек "swear", а вокруг него тьма серости.
Beauty and elegance in simplicity – that's the description I would give to Mac DeMarco's sixth studio album.
A slim and simple album, like a breath of summer breeze – it's refreshing and gives a feeling of lightness. The album, proudly bearing the name "Guitar," is built exclusively on the sound of the guitar without adding or incorporating other instrumental parts. The guitar is the main character, in whose parts emotion and depth flash intermittently. The ... read more
