Offset Surprises, That's How I'd Title This Review.
Hard progress compared to previous works. Yeah, it doesn't show anything new – the same beats, the same set of flow patterns, the same kitschy lyrics with a spoonful of introspection, but all of this is done on a whole other level – the quality has grown exponentially. Plus, a very cool pool of guest artists who got into the album's vibe and didn't disappoint, successfully diversifying Offset.
Если бы музыка Кизару существовала в Средневековье, она бы стала массовым орудием пыток...
Freddie Gibbs is like a samurai who spends a long time caring for his katana so that it doesn't let him down at the right moment; only in Freddie's case, he spends a long time honing his incredible flow.
"Alfredo" is an album without weaknesses. Let's start with the fact that he and Alchemist have an incredible connection; they intuitively catch each other's creative flow, resulting in monolithic tracks that you want to savor. An amazing selection of beats, ... read more
Such music needs to be enjoyed and contemplated, for the album is extremely consistent, incredibly beautiful, and amazingly crafted.
The music is above any ratings and even more so above flat dissection by mundane criteria.
An incredible release that I didn't expect anything from and stumbled upon completely by chance.
An extremely talented work that glorifies electronic sound, and it's also clear that the artist has a lot of love and respect for any genre. The sound decisions presented on the album simultaneously surprise and captivate, leaving an indelible impression. Cool work with synthesizers, excellent integration of other instruments, which doesn't cause any dissonance while listening. Good ... read more
A classic album from mgk.
He always has 1-2 diamond tracks that are adjacent to a sea of dullness and gloom.
A solid hip-hop album that showcases JID's strengths in all their glory.
I like that there's variety in the instrumentation, and as for the technical and lyrical sides of the album – top level. The way JID conducts his flow is hypnotic, his sense of rhythm is on an alien level. The flow cuts through the beats like a scalpel, leaving no chances. Lyrically, I like the wordplay, rhymes – all of it fits perfectly over the instrumentals.
A solid album, the song ... read more
"NO QUESTIONS ASKED", "AT A TIME LIKE THIS", "FORGONE" – amazing songs that brighten up the overall picture, filled with chaotic sound ideas.
The album could have been excellent, but it was hindered by the timing and the mess of the planned sound ideas.
Charming, captivating, well-crafted, beautiful – adjectives that describe this record.
I like certain sound solutions, especially regarding the use of acoustic instruments and their elegant parts. Dodie's voice literally floats over these rhythms, airily settling on the violin parts, fragile piano arpeggios, and subtle drum parts.
Yes, the record is objectively good, but emotionally, I didn't bond with it at all. Maybe I'll give the release a chance later, though I ... read more
A solid release with practically no weak spots. An authentic musical landscape featuring a colorful West Coast vibe, Vince's elite performance, and introspective lyrics where personal themes run as a red thread.
The release is strong, with no standout highlight— all tracks are of consistently good quality. The album doesn't disappoint.
After a year, I decided to relisten to the album, and it charmed me again, but not with the same ultimate force as a year ago. Despite the melancholic production, insinuating vocals, and introspection in the lyrics, the album definitely has a problem – the tracklist is underdeveloped. Next to brilliant tracks can be completely faceless songs that are tedious to listen to. Only because of this can one find fault with the album; otherwise, it's very pleasant dream pop.
Люблю музон i61, уважаю творчество Пошлой Молли, восхищаюсь Кагуей, но за релиз не подшарил.
Ну и Дмитрий Уткин, who is that?
I don't even know what to write... Just a collection of Abel's most famous and popular songs. It sounds powerful, popular, and banger-like.
I agree with the site's users' comments – it's really the best album by Glaive in his short career.
The album has incorporated the best features of previous works, while adding new colors and bringing more vibrancy. The idea to combine digicore with electropop elements is cool and implemented at 200%. Of course, there are filler songs that sound like fillers, but there are few of them.
Definitely Glaive has progressed, which is impossible not to rejoice. The album must be ... read more
Excellent album, which I first listened to only today and it's criminally late – it's really the greatest work.
It's clear that the album has the cult track "Dream On", but, in fact, all the songs here are of the same quality – equally high. Masterful guitar riffs, crazy drums, and phenomenal vocals – all this makes the album great.
"Write Me a Letter" – my personal MVP.
