Phenomenal work, just a classic of world hip-hop, which I unconditionally recommend to everyone and always. Masterful selection of instrumentals, elite work with words and rap. Every time I listen, I experience a mountain of positive emotions and every time I'm shocked by the songs "Sing for the Moment", "Till I Collapse", "Cleanin' Out My Closet" – the highest level of skill.
A beautiful album with outstanding production, angelic vocals, and insinuating lyrics. I don't want the music to end; it's so soft and airy that it turned out. Simply incredible.
The devil is not as black as he is painted.
I saw the ratings, drew a conclusion, but still turned it on and was surprised... I don't understand such huge hate towards the album, because it's just normal. Yeah, not outstanding, but not that terrible either.
The album is spoiled by its runtime, as well as unnecessary tracks that represent neither instrumental nor substantive value. The skits piss me off wildly, which bring absolutely NOTHING to the album, so the logical question is ... read more
"Caporegime" релиз из разряда "не хватает звёзд с неба". Да, базару нет, качающие биты, прикольный текст и элитное исполнение, но не хватает выделяющегося трека, так называемого "бэнгера". Примерно одно и то же настроение, примерно одно и то же качество у песен. ... read more
"IGOR" is an excellent album. It has its own unique vibe that you need to immerse yourself in. The album might not appeal on the first listen, but give it another chance, and it will really surprise you. A well-crafted musical world, filled with colorful musical elements, strong technical performance, and a conceptual story. This is the album where Tyler fully revealed himself as a creator and showed his full level of mastery.
Потраченного времени жаль, пятикратно переваренная к̶а̶л пластмасса.
On "Something Beautiful," Miley summarizes all her accumulated creative experience, jointly with a constellation of sound producers presenting a lengthy, instrumentally rich album with a worked-out instrumentation. Despite the fact that the producers pulled different elements from different directions and made homages to the sound of famous performers, it feels cohesive and complete. In addition, the album sounds amazing both as a whole and individually. The only thing is, I ... read more
Magic literally flows through every second of this masterful album.
«Hallucinating Love» is a kaleidoscope of various stylistic directions. Despite being based on bright pop music, the album carries the sound of adjacent styles – ambient, soul, electronics, chillwave. From the foundation, the group prefers live instruments, so all parts on the album are played either by Chris and Liam or by invited musicians. Shimmering synthesizers, accent funk drum parts, piercing violins, simple looped guitars – that's what makes up the basis of ... read more
In "Equus Caballus," I got what was missing from the previous album, namely freedom and movement. The warm melancholy of the prior record gives way to airy dreaminess, manifested in gorgeous synthesizer parts, danceable bass lines, and Emma's sunny vocals. The album has no obvious misses—nothing to nitpick. A fantastic 40 minutes of melodic, comfortable, and refreshing pop music.
The album "Equus Asinus" appealed to me. It's a perfectly crafted indie-folk acoustic record with an atmosphere of tender melancholy. The only downside is that the album feels a bit too academic. This academic quality is expressed in the strictness of the musical landscape, the choice of vocal arrangements, and the instrumentation. Don’t get me wrong, I wouldn’t call this a flaw, but personally, I wanted more development, more drive and movement. Setting aside my ... read more
In my opinion, the album brilliantly reveals and showcases Stefani's personality. She's simultaneously bright, reckless, energetic, provocative, but at the same time measured, empathetic, and thoughtful. This duality is perfectly realized through uneven production. The backbone of most instrumentals is uncontrollable dance-pop, wrapped in elements from diverse rock music, disco, synth-pop, techno, and electronics. The first half of the record is diamond-grade pop music with saturated ... read more
"Skepta.. Fred" is a prime example of smart collaboration between a sound producer and an artist. The beauty of this mini-album lies in how the artists showcased their strengths, finding a comfortable compromise without stepping on each other's toes. Fred's instrumentals and Skepta's performance form a single organism, marching in step and developing in the same direction.
Fred pumps an intoxicating mix of pounding grime and his signature electronics into the engine of ... read more
I’m currently at a stage in life where the main driving force of my playlist is a wide variety of indie rock. I don’t know why, but I find so much inspiration, so much life energy in these rhythms that I’m practically thrilled by every release I listen to. Sam Fender’s "People Watching" belongs to this group of albums.
An incredibly strong record in every aspect. The production is both cohesive and lively. Each track not only continues the sound of the ... read more
