Exuding pure fun and energy in every lush second of its composition. It’s really fucking good
Phenomenal encapsulation of every positive emotion possible, an immaculate love letter to living
Forward thinking and still respecting of its elders. GKMC holds an explosive set of songs revolving around the sins of the past and hopes for the future
This is a solid set of rainy moods and fun songs, yet they never account to much and there's no more to be said about them most good none terrible none unbelievably fantastic.
There is an extreme amount of content packed into 23 simple minutes nearly every song feels like a different journey from the skybound trip through clouds of no mistakes, the gutting reminiscing and acceptance of ghost town, the disturbing romp through hell of ITAKY, these adventures only brought down by all mine and yikes whom don't feel very special or explosive in their approaches.
Although the rock influence creates great songs often it feels like the short runtime comes as a detriment to most songs with some like reborn going on for quite a bit, and others like feel the love that are over often before I've finished enjoying them
Without a doubt his weakest effort to date JIK fails to ever come to a head or feel as a cohesive collection of music and more just a random selection of similar sounding songs. There is quality to be had however.
Intensely beautiful and lush comes a coming of age tale that must be relatable to all. Possibly the most likeable album of all time. Unfortunately though some of its edges are rough.
Excess, drugs, mania, yeezus is the encapsulation of fame and its effects, and through the more avante garde impossibly angered rant that is their instrumentals comes my current favorite album of all time.
Definitely deserving of its praise the monumental themes, choruses and instrumentals are often fine tuned to the fullest. However it is true that the middle 3rd that quality does dip the slightest bit.
An intricately designed jumbled mess of love songs, douchery and gospel. All of this somehow managing to say a great deal of personal destiny the consequences of choices and fear of the future
I've personally only known before for the amazing track roundabout and unfortunately its heights are never met. Many times the album feels unfocussed and random and it's never rounded off to only essential elements.
A beautiful journey through the apparent paradise of plastic beach Gorrilaz once again brings the organized chaos and off the wall ideas they're known for and doesnt disappoint with its offerings
A rather fun and bouncy album, however many times it can get irritating. Also many of the songs share very similar sounds, themes, lyrics making it easy to be annoying for its repetition
Although a revolution for its time as someone who didnt experience its initial years I personally dont feel the hype as much as others. For me it's not a perfect album but that doesnt mean it isn't good the whole way through
Phenomenally cheesy, yet sincere, perfect encapsulation of youth. With certain songs feeling as if they are entire albums of there own. Simulating their emotions and moods of them in such little time.
Incessantly fun and engaging it very much feels like what truly makes rock so fun, and just barely misses the mark of complete perfection.
Every song is so perfect, it’s truly the ultimate blend of angst, anger, and release.
